My late wife left behind dozens of books on or about cats, this was one of them. While it is aimed at helping those who grieve the loss of a beloved animal companion, reading it was almost like hearing her voice whispering in my ear about how to best deal with her death. A loving gift for those that are suffering the loss of a pet. Recommended.

It is a beautiful, beautiful poem that she's written and published in this book. It's heartbreaking and consoling at the same time. Having just lost one of my Babies, one of my little children, it was very moving. I highly, highly recommend it for anyone who has been so unfortunate as to have lost one of their "little children" too.

I am knee deep in grief over the loss of my beloved cat. This wonderful little book helped a lot.

The book is very, very short, and has very few words in it. However, to those who have lost a cherished pet, it has the power to move one to tears. I lost my wonderful, special needs cat in 2005, yet I still think about her and mourn her loss. We struggled together to treat her renal failure, but she had a loving, safe home after I found her on the edge of a busy street, obviously very sick.

It is a moving little book, and best given to one who has lost a pet. It brings back all of the memories, for good or for ill.

My wife liked it so much she has purchased another copy to give to a friend from church who is probably going to lose her 20-year-old cat within the next few months.

"Weep Not For Me" is a tiny book filled with a beautiful poem by Constance Jenkins eulogizing a beloved cat, and beautiful sugar lift etchings by Pat Schaverien. The book is intended to help people cope with the loss of a pet, and while it's written about a cat, it's a beautiful poem for any animal lover experiencing loss. Uniquely, it's written from the viewpoint of the cat, and provides reassurance for grieving pet owners. For those truly distraught there is a list of contacts for the United States and the United Kingdom for people having difficulty coping with their loss.

The book is perfect for anyone who has lost a pet; I recently gave a copy to a friend who had lost a cat, and it was very well received. I recommend this book for those who've lost a special friend.

This little book has a surprise bonus - the watercolor renditions of beloved cats. The sentiment, and especially the pictures, reminded me of some of my forever friends in ways I did not expect.

This little book is thought provoking. It is small in size but big on compaasion. A lovely book to keep on hand.

I believe the customer should be told that this is basically a child's book.....not a reading book. I feel as if I got ripped off. I was expecting a story, etc.

Having just lost my best furry friend, this book touched my heart. I think anyone who has lost a beloved pet, will appreciate the message it sends. Even young children would understand the heartfelt meaning.
