Once I get it going though it works great and you can really feel it in your wrist/forearm.

It takes a little time to get used to how to use this kind of training ball correctly, but it really works well after you can do it.

Not sure if it was me or the instructions - I thought I was doing what they said but I couldn't keep it going well.

i hear complaints about getting it up to speed and maintaining it. these are valid points. when i got it i fired it up i had no problems with my right hand. i even thought to myself, what is the problem? then i tried my left hand and i felt like a two year old trying to walk. so simple, but so precise. i can understand how some people could have issues with it. with that being said, i was easily able to get my left hand to do it, but i cant seem to get it up to the same speed as my right hand. the cool thing is, the faster it goes the harder it is so you do feel a burn in your arm if you can zip it around nice and smooth. all and all i like this and plan on playing around with it a lot more. i will of course follow up, but it is pretty obvious right off the bat what its pros and cons are. if you can use it, it is great, but you have to be able to increase speed by spinning it because the rope yank will not be fast enough or long enough to do the work out. if you have known coordination problems, you might want to take into consideration that this might not work for you. personally, for the cost, i really think it is worth the try though. but like another review said, you will not be doing this in the office. it is distracting and noisy. i do really like the fact that it puts stress all around, truly and even wrist work out. i am sure the first time i drop it, it will break (crosses fingers), because it feels like it wants to jump out when it gets going. hopefully i wont have to give a drop update

Purchased one years ago to help with multiple sport off-season training. Bought product a second time based on personal product knowledge.

Having owned this product for a few weeks, would say that this one is actually better than the old one. It allows you to keep higher RPMs which leads to stronger resistance and higher results.

Great product for cubicle/office use when you can't quite make it to the gym.

I bought this for my husband, but the kids and I love to use it too. Once you get the ball spinning, which is easily done, you then make it keep spinning by holding it in your hand while spinning your hand. It's a little tricky at first, but the motion is intuitive and soon you've mastered the motion and are exercising muscles that otherwise are never used. You can exercise while reading, watching tv, or talking on the phone. One caveat: kids with hands that are smaller than the average adult will trouble holding onto the Force Ball. I recommend this product heartily for the husbands and older teen boys.

I love having this at my work desk. I work for a web hosting company so I am at my computer all day and being able to exercise my wrists and arms is great. I had a lot of wrist pain from typing all day but once I started using this I no longer have the wrist pain I did before.

This works perfectly, and it DOES work. Honestly, research how to make it function before you say its useless. your supposed to get the wheel in the center, (the green thing that rotates) to spin quickly, you use your hand to keep it going by rotating your hand in a circular motion. This product is worth the money, and if you aren't sure its for you, think again. it helps build up your grip, your wrist strength, forearm, shoulder, and helps tennis elbow.

This is a very useful item and one which I'm sure to use often. There are more heavy duty gyro wrist balls on the market but this one works great whether you're just starting out or already have experience with this type of exerciser. It's very easy to use and easy to toss it in your bag if traveling. Really couldn't be better. Thanks.

Item came on time as promised and the product looked exactly as described on the web. If you're looking for one to exercise your wrist, this is the one (highly recommend).

Not worth the money. Can't feel or see any results after using it. More a party object then anything else. Bought handgrips instead.
