It is very easy to use. You have the option to shut the verbal part off.
Its very accurate. I like it very well.

I ordered the My Weigh, FunWeigh, Fun Talking Digital Bathroom Scale for my elderly mom. She was asked to record her weight daily by her doctor. She also has macular degeneration in both eyes and has limited vision. This talking and humorous scale was the perfect idea for her sight problem and to keep the weighing fun. The first scale we received did not work properly. It "spoke" the weight, but none of the funny sayings. We returned it with no problem and received another scale, which works perfectly. My mom's task of weighing herself is now not a chore, but a good chuckle.

this a great accurate scale...I am on weight watchers and it is within 1/10 of a pound with the weight watcher's scales, however, the messages can get tiring after a while.

I ordered fun weight talking scale on 3/22/11. it was defective in that sometimes the reading was as much as 20 lbx off. I called customer service to get a rma label on 4/7 was told since it is defective i could get a refund. called again on the 15th, left a message on the voice mail with no reply. called again on 4/21/11, spoke with a representative who said they would send me an e-mail with a rma number and also send me a label so I could return the scale for a refund. Have not heard anything from blutek since. I am sure they purposely wait until the 30 day return period is expired so a refund is not available and can rip off their customers. I would certainly never recommend this company to anyone, unless I want to see them cheated, and would give blutek a zero rating.

MY SON IS LEGALLY BLIND AND COULD NOT SEE REGULAR SCALES. WE LOOKED FOR TALKING SCALES LOCALLY AND FOUND NONE - CHECKED WITH AMAZON - PRICE WAS GREAT -
ORDERED - WE HAVE HAD A LOT OF FUN WITH WHAT SHOULD NORMALLY BE A MUNDANE THING TO DO. NO ONE MINDS WEIGHING BECAUSE OF THE ZANY THINGS THE SCALES SAY.
PLUS MY SON CAN KEEP TRACK OF HIS WEIGHT WITH NO EFFORT . RECOMMEND HIGHLY

At first this scale gave resonably accurate readings. But after two weeks of use it started to give readings 15 pounds lower than before and 15 pounds lower than my true weight. (I know my true weight because I have access to a professional-type sliding weight scale in a gymnasium.)
