Good product, bad instructions
Instructions mislead on battery use.Scales are accurate. Sometimes it is not sufficient to step on the scales to initiate the weighing but you need to a little lift and then drop it. Thus the missing fifth star.

Doesn't work
I was extremely disappointed in this scale. I noticed after the first use that it took multiple weighing for the scale to give a reading. You get on the scale and it immediately starts to calculate your weight but after a couple of seconds it shuts off. After doing this several times if finally gave me a reading but I haven't been able to get it to give me one since. I...

I was extremely disappointed in this scale. I noticed after the first use that it took multiple weighing for the scale to give a reading. You get on the scale and it immediately starts to calculate your weight but after a couple of seconds it shuts off. After doing this several times if finally gave me a reading but I haven't been able to get it to give me one since. I spent the money and bought new batteries for it (it takes 3 volt watch type batteries) but no difference, it still shuts off without giving a reading. I wrote the company but never got a reply. I would not recommend this scale to anyone, it plain and simply does not work.
