5.0 out of 5 stars Study to show yourself approved, December 6, 2000
By

This review is from: Weighed & Found Wanting: (Paperback)
In Weighed and Found Wanting, Pastor Bill Randles points out a biblically alarming reality. Spirtual drunkedness is not a blessing from God, but a Judgement! As these signs and wonders continue to sweep through the Church, will we be willing to Study and Show Ourselves Approved??

5.0 out of 5 stars Poorly written but shows a clear head, September 9, 2002
By
Sue Thompson (Wilmington, DE USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Weighed & Found Wanting: (Paperback)
I read this book years ago when it first came out, and refer to it now and again for its clarity of thought. Randles takes the thinking so common to these movements and draws the line to logical conclusions--something folks in the movements do not do. How wonderful it sounds to tell people that we are too caught up in doctrine and need to get out of our heads and let God move--but if one works that out, step by step, the conclusion is that doctrine is unnecessary, God hates intellect and thoughtful study, and we are so powerful that we could actually stand in the way of God.

This book is painfully poorly written but, bless his heart, Randles is a good thinker. He needs some major proofreading and editing help but this book is excellent in presentation.
