It has been 5 days since I first listened to this track. I was a little afraid at first so I listened from beginning to end (just to make sure I wasn't receiving suggestions to go around dancing naked on desks at work) and it seemed safe. Then I started over from the beginning: I was asleep before he even hit the 10 minute mark. I noticed the next day that I was satisfied whenever I ate a meal,that I was able to pass up things like cookies and ice cream (my weaknesses) whenever they were offered, and I ate slower. I am now on day 5 and let me tell you: This is working. I ordered a piece of chocolate cake after lunch yesterday and halfway through I let my girlfriend finish the rest. I was satisfied with a couple of bites of chocolate cake!! The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is because I haven't weighed myself so I don't know if I have lost a pound yet. If nothing else, this is very relaxing and calming. I highly recommend it.

I like this product. The reader sounds at first like he is from the "dark side," but he is very soothing once you get going with him. I liked the way he takes you along the beach. His transition into the weight-loss suggestions is a bit of a leap, but all in all, this is a recommended purchase for your night-time iPod listening.

listen to only at night. immediately suggests you use imagery (on a beach) and while the voice on the tape is calming, i'm not sure I like this that much.
