This is a very good poetry book
I'm a mexican reader. Iwas at Toronto last year and I bought the Anne Michaels' book. I liked it very much 'cause contents the kind of poetry that I think is the best literature. She writes soft and deep ideas and images anda plays -like in a dream- with the words. I found a Michels' poems in the subway. So after I searched and found the book. I'd like to write to the...

Disappointed
After I read her novel I couldn't wait to read her poetry. The novel was exquisitely poetic and wonderful. The poetry, which I expected to be even better, was not.

This book is so inspiring and wonderful. Michaels possesses all the qualities of an amazing poet, and her work really shines through in this collection. She is descriptive and sensitive, and it is certainly a must read.
