Weight Watchers' "60-Minute Gourmet," with some 300 quick recipes, 100 of them for the microwave. The dishes are less fussy and cutesy than in some Weight Watchers' cookbooks; some are standard, but others are more thoughtful (although the idea of a caviar-Cool Whip dip is a bit hard to take). For some reason--to make the ingredients lists appear shorter?--many recipes lump disparate ingredients together, as in " cup each pearl onions, sliced carrots, and canned beef broth," which can be confusing. Still, bound to be popular.

Like with most diet books some of the recipes are hit or miss. This one has some good ones and some bad ones. They're easy to follow and I can find all of the ingredients in my local supermarket. I wish it had pictures to go with some of the recipes though.

Easy recipes, wish more weren't done in the microwave though. The nice thing about this cookbook is that ingredients are simple, most likely you have them in your pantry. This other ww cookbook i have is too in depth, ingredients i can't find in store, elaborate preparation, etc. the nice thing about this is that I can find out points plus values for recipes because nutritional info is there.
