This is a great replacement battery for the Luna Pro. It works like the origional discontinued battery.

Old camera gear, such as my Gossen light meter, was originally powered by mecury-based batteries that put out 1.35 volts.

Now that mecury batteries are virtually extinct, owners of old gear have turned to modern 1.5 volt batteries. Of course, that makes the light meters, both hand-held and camera mounted, measure inaccurately.

Good news. This Wein Cell puts out 1.35 volts, just as did the old mecury batteries.

My 40 years old Gossen meter is dead-on accurate when it is powered by this battery.

Two of the PX625 batteries brought my Gossen Luna Pro light meter back to life. It's the cheapest way to repower old photo equipment.
Note that the cells require a bit of time to reach optimal voltage after removing the adhesive plastic air hole covers from each cell.

The Battery worked great in the Camera Metering System, as the special voltage was required for a proper setting of the "F" Stop. This Battery is a great replacement for the original discontinued Battery.

I say you should look closely at the bottom of the cell before opening the package because the one I got from Amazon/Micro-Tools was heavily encrusted with corrosion on arrival. It was not apparent until I opened the blister pack.

When I did, it was apparent the entire plastic cup that holds the battery was filled with corrosion foo.

Ah well, it was only $5.95. I'll see if Amazon takes it back. I wouldn't blame them if they don't, the package being opened and all.

That's why I say, look closely at the bottom of the cell before opening package.

So why two stars and not one? Because I ordered another one, and it looks ok.

P.S. In case you're curious, I use this battery in my Olympus 35 RC and in my Yashica Lynx 14.

I ordered batteries for my 40 year old Nikon cameras. These batteries do not seem to be fresh as the camera tester is on the negative side. My last battery order was fine.

Exactly the type of hard-to-find battery that is required for 30+-year-old Canon Canonet 28. Battery has proper voltage to ensure the camera's shooting settings will hold true to form.

We needed this battery for an older film camera. The price was right, it arrived very quickly and now the camera works! Who could ask for more?

I have a light meter that uses an obcure 1.35v px13 battery. I found it at Wein Cell. I ordered two as the unit requires two to operate. Unfortunately one of the first two batteries was corroded in the package. They sent a replacment immediately and it too was corroded. The blister packs are clear and if you look, you can see grey fuzzy corrosion on the batteries. So after several weeks, my light meter is still inop. Sending the two corroded ones back as requested and waiting for another replacement.

Their attentino to this problem so far has been fine. Just drawn out now.
