3.0 out of 5 stars Not what I was hoping for..., July 5, 2011
This review is from: The Weiser Field Guide to Cryptozoology: Werewolves, Dragons, Skyfish, Lizard Men, and Other Fascinating Creatures Real and Mysterious (Paperback)
I had high hopes for this book. A newcomer to the field of cryptozoology, I was hoping for this book to be a really good resource to start my collection. It definitely fell short of the mark for me. Each entry is pretty short and reads somewhat similar to the trashy magazines you find at the checkout line, especially with the heavy use of exclamation points throughout. A disappointing purchase, but it did have some information that was new to me, so not a total bust. I can't say I recommend it though.
