Simply turn on this compact 5-3/8-by-3-1/4-by-2-1/4-inch machine, and pests within a 3,000-square-foot area will miraculously scamper, skitter, or fly away. Weitech's patented Variable Frequency Technology generates powerful ultrasonic sound waves that are inaudible to the human ear, yet penetrate and disturb the nervous system of rodents, bats, and small insects, forcing them to seek safer ground. The repeller is safe for use around infants and children, as well as dogs, cats, birds, or fish--pet mice, gerbils, and hamsters should be kept away. This handy machine has two settings: one for fleas, moths, insects, and spiders; one for rodents and bats. In addition, you can can opt for either high or low power, and quiet or audible sound. For the most powerful repelling action, the machine should be set on the high-power, audible setting. It should be noted that even on the quiet settings, the machine does make a slightly audible chirping or clicking sound. The attractive, off-white unit functions automatically and continuously for two to four days with a 9-volt battery or continuously with a power adapter (included). An illuminated LED light stops flashing when the battery becomes weak or begins to lose power. The operating instructions thoroughly describe the functioning and proper use of the unit for different types of pests. The unit should be placed anywhere from floor level to 3 feet above the floor and placed to take advantage of the echoing effects of hard surfaces such as walls, mirrors, and windows. Although safe for outside use, the unit is not waterproof. Limited two-year warranty.

I bought the Weitech 1500 Pest Repeller hoping to get rid of a pesky mouse but 3 weeks later, it's still running around! The worse part of the product is the irritating clicking noise it makes, just imagine hearing your alarm clock all day, just not as loud. It's driving me crazy! I don't know what's worse the steady annoying clicking noise or knowing that the mouse is still here. I'm still hoping that it'll work because i can't imagine actually killing the mouse and trying to throw it out.

We have been using this product for 3 weeks and have not noticed an improvement in our bug problem. We still have spiders and other creepy crawleys.

We were having a problem with brown recluse spiders in our home. This pest controller eliminated most of them. When one first uses it, it will actually make pests more active because it disrupts their normal cycles. After about 4-6 weeks, the number of pests one sees will be greatly reduced. Sound frequencies don't travel through walls, so this unit should be placed in a more open area. Smaller units are available for smaller places. We have this unit and 2 of the 1000 square feet units. I'm buying one more for our garage--that's how satisfied we are with the product.
