One star for poor labeling by Amazon. Fve stars for the book itself,

This rating is actually the combinination of two perspectives on htis book. First I gave it one star based upon truth in labeling. Amazon needs to provide clearer warning that this is a visitor's guide for fairly young kids. In fact it seems more like a good prop for a parent-child activity in preparation for a visit to Badlands - perhaps something that mom or dad can go over with the little ones in the back seat as you make your way accross South Dakota to the park itself. While I never used it in this way (my kids are grown) , it seems like it could rate a 5 from this perspective.Although the fine print does identify it as a children's book - it was to fine for me. I ordered it expecting a more comprehensive guide to the park. Amazon took it back. No questions asked. No harm, no foul. |
