Staying motivated and focused can be difficult, especially if you don't have others to talk to about keeping house. How do you stay in the zone? Is it the joy of having a clean home? I often think back to what it was like when my house was an impenetrable sty. LOL!

I just read all the one-star reviews and I'm somewhat appalled at how determinedly lazy some people are. For 30+ years, with a professional career and a full social life -- and a couple of kids -- I've managed to spend maybe an hour per day, on average, keeping my house neat and clean and presentable. And that includes vacuuming twice a week, sanitizing all the drains once a week, and making the beds with hospital corners. (I'm an army brat -- I've never *known* any other way to make a bed.) When I have company, they occasionally ask what maid service I use. Are people really so incapable of doing a little housework? Or do they think there's something "modern" about living in dirt and squallor?
