"Hang Time" and "And the Horse They Rode in On" are two of the greatest albums of all time to be released by any band, and I'm proud to say I already had them. I bought this 3-disc set for the remastered versions, bonus tracks, and the live songs. Soul Asylum is (or was) considered to be the greatest live rock band of the early 90's. While that may be a bit of an exaggeration, they do sound really good live, and the October of 1990 tracks here prove it.
The remastered tracks sound amazing, and they're way overdue. The live tracks are great, but the song choice is a little questionable (seriously, "To Sir with Love"?). So, even if you already have "Hang Time" and "And the Horse They Rode in On," shell out for this set. If only to make your Soul Asylum mix CD's sound more even, it's worth the money.

I received the cd(s) promptly & in the condition described, however, they failed to include the liner notes/cd booklet. I contacted the seller & they had accidentally overlooked it when packaging it. They immediately mailed it to me. I'm pleased with their service.
