Disk one is just crazy!! If you're one of those people that wished they were collecting music or clubbing when this stuff was made... this will jerk a few more tears! To get this collection of classics on a cd compilation is probably worth the money alone... C'mon..Plastic Dreams, Move Your Body, I'll be You're Friend, Can U Feel It, Traxx U Lost and Adois' No way Back? I know how I would feel if I had all of this on vinyl - I suppose having them like this - mixed by one of the old veterans will have to do!! and how... ha ha ha.. Then Disk Two... well perhaps this is why this guy is considered a Godfather... Just check to see the footage of Marshall on the enhanced CD rom.. sweet! Although he may toot his own horn a bit - we can't deny as listeners and consumers the facts he gives us about his career and those who he has 'helped' reach their current place in dance music: Frankie Knuckles, Felix da Housecat, DJ Pierre etc. etc.. That is a nice touch buy these guys at WTTWO! The tracks....This is a quality selection of current, quality house. Jazzy, soulful and at times quite deep and intelligent. It's all there really...and if you don't believe me, the selection of artists Jefferson uses is wonderfully diverse. Crossing from North America to the UK and Europe - and this is what really needs to be done today, if this new label is claiming to provide the future of cutting edge dance/house via Jefferson. Paul Johnson's "I Ain't Got No Soul" will make anyone move; J Majik and Kathy Brown's "Love is not a Game" is a big crowd pleaser at the moment -god I love Kathy's voice!! The 15000 dollar remix of "Love me or Leave Me" by Delicious Inc./Sabrina Pope is quality, soulful, uplifting House. I can't get them all in this review but I can't finish without stating that I'm so glad Jefferson's (with Noosa Heads) "Mushrooms'" track is included. Marshall's approaching mix for his tale of "zooms" and "his" girl - is absolutely wonderful - what a trip!! His mixing is class - don't know how or if they used a studio - and I suppose that may matter to some - But when I buy a compilation, I just want quality, smooth mixes... I'm not in a club, I'm with my mates "Have'n it" to disk two or chilling and reminiscing to disk one! Not only are the mixes smooth but I believe most if not all house fans, will appreciate the selection and order in which Jefferson delivers. To Maybe help some of you reading this: I'm a big fan of John Acquaviva, Danny Tenaglia, DJ Heather, Mark Farina, Johnny Fiasco and Crico Castelli. If you appreciate any or all of the house provided by artists like these - you really should listen to this new collection....

MARSHALL JEFFERSON was born to make house music that moves the spirit! He was "GODFATHER" of HOUSE MUSIC in the 80's, 90's and will forever be~ Marshall Jerfferson is simply LEGENDARY!!! This man is a musical GENIOUS whose music is very easy to fall in love with. All the tracks, beats, rhythms and lyrics on this (2) CD package SPEAK for themself! SIMPLY ALL OF GENIOUS! DANCE, DANCE, DANCE. Old School house to new school house, still keeping the good old traditional-original Marshall Jerfferson vibe!!! He's a Chicago & 1980's NY Paradise Garage Classic!!! Jefferson knows how to RIDE A SERIOUS RYHTHM TODAY JUST AS HE DID 20 YEARS AGO - HE WILL NEVER LOSE HIS TOUCH!!! The man was born to make music!!! Thank you Marshall Jefferson!! God Bless~
