The World Crashing In,
By Michael Kerner "Michael Kerner" (Brooklyn, New York U.S.A.) - See all my reviews (HALL OF FAME REVIEWER) (VINE VOICE)
This review is from: Welcome To The World (featuring Rick Ross) [Explicit] (MP3 Download)
There honestly times this past year where I've heard songs that sampled others that felt like they've crashed and burned. The feeling with songs like Ciara's Never Ever have felt very weak. That also has been the case with newcomer Kevin Rudolf and his single Welcome To the World. I thought the song was not only bad, it just didn't click at all like the man on the corner he took himself to being. The song which surprisingly took a sample from the classic Genesis song, Man On the Corner really wasn't as exciting at all. I really loved the original song that Genesis made years ago, but this song that Rudolf made felt like it was the pits. He needs to make songs all his own, and not try to imitate a strong innovation. It is so sad that Kevin didn't make it. Hopefully, when his real original comes out, he can be better than trying to be the lonely man there on the corner.Song: F+

Awesome Song,
By Brian (Rotonda West, Florida) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Welcome To The World (featuring Rick Ross) [Explicit] (MP3 Download)
In order to make sure I write a 'proper' review, I am listening to Welcome to the World right now. Of course, even if I wasn't reviewing it right now, I'd still be listening to it, because I really like the song (the artist isn't bad either). Through the entire song, there's only one swear word (the s*** one), and it's a really good song.Welcome to the World [Explicit]
