An excellent story on the Toronto Revival written by an insider who was there from the beginning. A must read for anyone who wants to know more about the inner workings of revival.

Wesley Campbell does a great job of documenting the move of God in Toronto, and giving clear explanation of how it can be understood in light of scripture and church and revival history.

I loved this book. Welcoming a Visitation of the Holy Spirit by Wesley Campbell was very very interesting. I missed this visitation when it spread through the United States and than all throughout the World. I am praying that the Holy Spirit will come back to the world again. I will not miss this event if the Holy Spirit comes back. I am looking for it to happen again. I could not put this book down. Fascinating subject.

Wesley Campbell writes about the revivals that sprung up around the nation and Canada in the middle of the '90's. Something I had never had the opportunity to read about was the Toronto Blessing. Wesley gives us the background of the people and their lives who experienced Holy Spirit in unusual ways. He talked about how they tested everything they encountered to be sure it was a move of God and not the devil, what they experienced and how it lined up with the Word of God and also what those who had these encounters went on to do in their own churches. He spoke in a way that made me want to experience those manifestations, too!
