About the Author
Larry F. Jeffus is a dedicated teacher and author with over twenty years experience in the classroom and several Cengage Delmar Learning welding publications to his credit. He has been nominated by several colleges for the Innovator of the Year award for setting up nontraditional technical training programs. He was also selected as the Outstanding Post-Secondary Technical Educator in the State of Texas by the Texas Technical Society. Now retired from teaching, he remains very active in the welding community, especially in the field of education.

Just learning to weld, and have tried several books. This is the best by far. The material is covered in depth, the illustrations/pictures are clear. Great for learning on your own.

There is a lot of good information in the book, but the price is starting to get out of hand. Talk to your instructor and see if you can use the fourth edition for the class and save yourself some serious coin.

i decided to go with the supersaver shipping option. next time i think i'll pay the extra couple of bucks as it took over a week to even ship. i did however get it before their "final day". the thing is, they give you like a 30 day window.
