I got this book because I took a welding class at the local Community College. It is a great book for showing the skills needed for welding. The sad part is, getting a welding job only pays a little more than minimum wage here in the Mid-West. Usually $8-$12 an hour. Not worth the time to learn the trade if that's all I'm gonna get paid.

Why by the $94 text @ the school bookstore when you can get it for less than 1/3 complete with notes written in it? :) Let's hope they are right!

Even though it's a book my daughter needed for a class she's taking She says she's learning a lot from it.

This technical book is easy to understand and full of hands on exercises. It's a practical reference tool and an advantage for learning welding skills. Your welding techniques will progress faster, thus improving your learning curve. This reference book is the recommended college level technical publication.

I ordered this book on August 21 expecting it to arrive in 3 to 5 days as stated at the website. It is now the 28th and the book has not arrived leaving my college son waiting for a textbook. Tracking or calling anyone was impossible. The tracking on amazon's website said the book would be here on the 27th. Today is Saturday, the 28th and the book has still not arrived. I tracked it with the Tracking number given to us, and the number did not work! My son desperately needs this book. I counted on it getting here on time. I won't be able to rely on Amazon in the future. Very Very Disappointed with this service!
