The present third volume of collected articles appears as number 100 of the "Newsletters for Physicians" under the title "Man and Remedy". It includes the essential articles of the period 1971-1980; several new articles, written especially for this special edition, have also been added.

After an introductory presentation on Rudolf Steiner's "Anthroposophy as Spiritual Science" (H. Biesantz) we wish to shed some light on several fundamental aspects of medicine and to make some observations on the nature of substance. In addition, we will describe pharmaceutical processes and give both a general and a detailed account of various remedies.
