I read the upgrade by Paul Carr. It was quite a good read. It wasn't as good as Other Peoples money or most Ben Mezrich books but Paul has something which is sadly lost without alcohol. 33 Dry Humps tries to fill the void The Upgrade left however the void is Grand Canyonesque.

Actually, this is not a book per se. It's a compiliation of blog postings over a certain period of time.

I don't like these kinds of books. First of all, blog postings and books need different formats and
writing styles. For blog postings, you get away with less organized writing as long as you get the feel right
in many cases. And you can insert web page links and images.

But all this doesn't do much to enhance your reading experience when the writing is in the book form.
In particular, if you are reading on the Kindle keyboard device, this will be all the more true.

Content-wise, this book isn't as interesting as the idea (staying at different hotels each night) sounded at first.

You can skip this one.

The premise was great, but didn't feel like the stories and writing provided much insight on Vegas or what it would be like to spend a day in a different hotel for a month. I'd recommend other works by the author but this one felt like something was missing.

It could be deeper
But it is fun while it lasts
Sort of like Vegas
