Could've Been Me and She's Just A Hiss On The Tape are two cuts that have stayed with me since I first heard them so many years ago. The two are the finest songs ever written about a romance that just could not be. There is not a bad song on this CD. I'm happy to see it re-released.

This studio project is merely more great songs written by a true craftsman in the art of song writing. Not as potent as the "SAPPHIRE", "GLORIOUS FOOL" or "GRACE and DANGER" projects but it still shines as evidence toward John Martyn being one of the best song writers in the Music arena.
