This is not some fad-diet cookbook. This is what healthy eating should be. Instead of telling you to avoid eating certain kinds of foods, this book celebrates food. Probably the book's most attractive feature is its sheer number of recipes. There is probably only 3-4 recipes out of the 500 that I actually like. I like healthy cooking, so I thought this cookbook would be for me. I usually don't purchase cookbooks online, and this experience has re-affirmed that. I wasn't very impressed and from now on I'm going to stick to finding my recipes online, for free.

This is not some fad-diet cookbook. This is what healthy eating should be. Instead of telling you to avoid eating certain kinds of foods, this book celebrates food. Probably the book's most attractive feature is its sheer number of recipes. I've found that the recipes tend to rely on herbs, seasoning, or an occasional exotic ingredient to give an otherwise plain meal a real kick. Most of the recipes are easy to prepare (although they often require time), and the ingredient lists are short. This cookbook would be great for anybody who wants to eat well, but especially for someone who's new to cooking healthfully because the recipes are fairly simple, and the variety means that there's something for everyone. On a technical note, I love that there are color photos of each recipe, and the book is spiral-bound so it lies flat on the counter.

I like some of the recipes on this book but some are just odd in terms of the ingredients used and too many slow cooker recipes in it for me. I just rather cook things in one or two hours and not have something cooking forever. Some pressure cooker recipes would have been better for me

When a patient of mine brought this in for my review, I hunted down my own copy that night! I love that it has calories, protein and more listed for each recipe, and the recipes are simple to prepare. I teach weight loss and this has been a great tool to help people get off of fast food and prepared meals from the store!

In Food Science lab, we used Better Homes and Gardens as our lab book because the recipes ALWAYS turned out as expected, this new edition is no different; it's awesome!

I bought this book after the holidays, along with several others, because my husband and I were looking for a way to lose weight and eat healthier without feeling deprived. As soon as I opened this book I loved it. The recipes are delicious and easy to prepare and very healthy. My husband and I are slowly losing weight and we're enjoying it. We try a new recipe nearly every night and haven't found a bad one yet. The book lives up to it's name, "Eat Well Lose Weight."

I purchased this book recently and I absolutely fell in love. This is the cook book to buy if you want to get healthy but not feel like you're on a diet. Everything is so easy to make, delicious and filling that you forget the reason you're cooking it is to get in shape. Literally my favorite cookbook (and I have quite a few!)
