I purchased this gun off of eBay, but from the same seller, and it's the same model. It is a very good gun, decent rate of fire, and it has a moderately realistic feel to it. You have to get more mags (they're like 4 bucks each), because a mag can be emptied in a few seconds on full auto. I had to tape 3 together, for quick reloads. Quality is pretty good, just don't go wacking things with it, and you should be good. The battery life will easily last a game or two before it needs recharging, but I would buy a spare of that, too. I don't know what the FPS rating is truely, but I would say something in the area of 200fps, perfect for backyard battles. Accuracy is good, and the adjustable hop-up is very helpful when you are using different grade bb's and different weights, although I wouldn't use anything but .12gram bb's. The gun really doesn't have enough power for heavier ones. If you want a decent airsoft gun for an awesome price, get this gun. I hope this review helps.

This gun (seen under a bunch of different names here at Amazon, if they look alike, chances are they're all the Double Eagle M83) really impressed me the day it came (only 4 business days to ship from LA to PA). While I was waiting for the battery to charge, I toyed around with the gun. The sight that comes standard on the gun is pretty handy, but it's almost required to remove the handle part of the sight nearest the trigger to but the electric sight on. Even then, it's more of a showy accesory than anything because you have to aim higher than the crosshair shows. The flashlight is a nice addition to everything as well. You have to be careful when putting on the strap because my friend, who bought the same gun, put his on and the strap came off, resulting in the gun falling to the ground, the barrel hitting first, and the mock silencer broke off. My strap hasn't failed me yet, just like every other part of the gun. So now to the fun. If you plan on using this gun during wars/capture the flag/etc., I strongly suggest you buy an extra magazine and speed loader and practice reloading. The gun is accurate up to about 30 feet until it starts to curve a little, unless you use the useful hop up system. By switching the lever from 'normal' to 'hop up' mode, your gun puts more of a backspin on the BBs, making them curve upwards and get more distance. This is great for shooting people high up that are far away once you get the aiming down. The automatic function is a lot of fun and great for taking out lots of people during gameplay. The magazine runs out fast though, so use it sparingly. I measured the FPS to range between 220-260, depending on battery power, type of BBs (.12 gram giving the highest FPS), and wind. I've used it for 2 battles so far, both of which were about 4 hours long. The battery didn't even show signs of slowing down, so just keep it charged and you'll be fine. I highly recommend this gun to anyone looking to impress and have hours upon hours of fun with friends.

PROS: -6 setting adjustable shoulder stock easily caters to your shooting style.
-High battery life keeps you in the game all day long.
-Gun hasn't jammed once in over 8 hours of use.
-Hop up system is great for that extra distance.
-Looks pretty sweet.
-Accessories (Flashlight, Electronic Sight, Extra Barrel) are a fun addition the gun.
-Powerful, but not too powerful for children of all ages.
-Realistic look and weight gives you the feel of an actual M16.

CONS: -Only accurate up to about 30 feet until BBs begin to curve.
-Plastic screw-on barrel has a chance of breaking if dropped on barrel.
-Sight can be complicated until you get used to the gun.
-Reloading can be annoying, but not a problem if you practice.

i bought this gun and it came amazingly fast! i had a all night turniment and it worked very very well. the only bad thing about this gun is it only holds about 40 to 50 rounds so i only use the semi. but over all it is a very good gun it is heavy and acurate. i recomend this gun to any player!

This gun is a very good gun... for the price. It's not that it's bad. It's just that if you want a gun to fight people on the field with, then this is the wrong gun. If you want a gun to play around with your friends with, then this is a good purchase.

Pros: Hop Up is useful for far away targets.
Comes with flashlight, and two barrels.
Realistic size and weight.
Battery lasts long.
Cons: Mag runs out EXTREMLY fast (I recomend getting 2 or 3).
Scope is useless.

this gun is the best deal for anyone who wants to get started in airsoft, it comes with a ton of accesories and although it says it only has 200 fps, the distance is much greater and the hop up, the only reason i would not reccomend this gun is if you play tournament cause the people who do that have way better guns.

O yea make sure u buy extra clips

thiis gun shoots an average of 250 fps, wiht .2 gram bbs. it looks great, but not entirly realistic. this gun feals realisitc to. but watch out the silencer breaks off easily.
Pros- Shoots fast and hard, looks and feels real, comes with many accesorys
cons- made of plastic, silencer breaks off easily, needs at least 3 magazines to come with it (magazines run out of ammo quick)
This gun is a great buy for anyone interested in airsoft whether it is as wars or target practice this gun is a must have.

i bought this gun for battles in the woods with my buddys and i works great pick off my friends for 50m away!!!!!!! this is a great gun for any one shoots hard, shoots fast,and best of all this is my most accurate gun i have and i own over 17!!!!! so all in all great gun, best machince gun i have if you want a machine gun buy this one

I recieved my gun today when i got home from school. I was firstly supirsed at how quickely i got it. I have yet to have used it on the playing feild but I have really no complaints. the only thing is that the barrel is plasic and is lible to break.

I will start out by saying that this gun is not for expirienced players. This gun is good for me because im not an intense player. If you use 12g bb it will shot about how far a spring pistol does, but if you use a 24g bb it wail shoot 215fps. i use 12g bb. if you play in a backyard then this is a gun to get.

This gun is great. Its relatively fast and cheap. I would recommend this to beginners. The only downside to this gun is the clip capacity which is max 50 rounds. I bought two rounds though and a small pistol for backup but i would definately recommend this gun. My only question is if any1 can answer it is where do you connect the charger. I cant find it!!!
