These guys rock in concert and they are genuinely nice guys to talk to in person. The lyrics on this album are powerful, of course, the impact might vary depending on where you are in life, but it easily has meaning for everyone.

So to summarize...this band has great:
- sound/style
- lyrics
- guys
- debut album

Do yourself a favor and buy this album! If you love melodic alternative rock that's very creative you won't be disappointed!

Great first album from this new band. Lyricly and musicly talented Mainstay pours heart and soul into there first release. Catchy gutair hooks and great drum beats, rock the Christian music scene! Check this cd out it is incredible. Can't wait for more from them.
For those who like Anberlin, Switchfoot, and Sanctus Real.

I buy a *lot* of music, and I am generally the type of listener that over-listens to my new music and thus tire of it so quickly that I have to keep buying more. (I know, if I'd just break down and buy an Ipod I could mix things up a bit - but I'm really anal about audio quality so I need my CDs) We're in a bit of a lull at the moment with new CCM releases (at least where my style is concerned) so I pulled out this album today and I remembered all over again why I became such a big fan of these guys - this album rocks!! Some of my favorite tracks on this album are These Pages, Yesterday, Overnight on Nicollet, Take Away, October Came Late, & Down Silver Lake. And yes I realize that's over half the album, but that's just how good it is.
