"Samantha Hahn's lush and dreamy illustrations capture the hearts of literature's most adored heroines. They're all here-Clarissa Dalloway, Dorothea Brooke, Nancy Drew-and each one is drawn so magnificently that their authors would rejoice as we rejoice, and tear the pages from this book to hang on their walls." - Emma Straub, author, Laura Lamont's Life in Pictures

"Samantha Hahn's exuberant watercolors paired with sharply chosen quotes feel at once nostalgic and modern, stylish and genuine. All qualities befitting the complex women she renders." - Stella Bugbee, editorial director, New York magazine/thecut.com

This is such a beautifully crafted and thoughtful book. Got mine yesterday and I've already decided I'm giving a copy to every woman I know this Christmas! The beautiful details just blow me away. And I know I will refer back to it through the years, whenever I need a little inspiration or guidance...the kind only a classic literary heroine can give.
