This review is from: The Well of Truth: A Folktale from Egypt (StoryCove: A World of Stories) (Paperback)
An Egyptian folklore about a donkey, a rooster, and a goat that plant a garden with a twist! I won't give the story away, but its a good lesson in telling the truth (and responsibility, sharing, fairness) - or facing the consequences! My kids all liked the story, it had a good pace. The illustrations, however, were Very Very Bad!! Felt like the character animals could have had more expression, especially for the target audience of the story (ages 4-8).
