I learned about Kolestral Condition from a hair stylist in Portland Oregon and I am grateful for that. I had been buying Kolestral Condition in the tube from him but for unknown (to me) reasons he was having trouble replenishing his supply so I went on-line in search of this product.

I have purchased two 16 oz tubs of this material and I actually prefer it in the tubs because it is more fluid and therefore is easier to disperse throughout my hair than the denser material in the tube. What I also like a LOT! about the product is that it has no heavy perfume to assault my nasal passages or linger, overpowering all else, in my hair, and it leaves my hair silky AND manageable!!! I am delighted with the product and recommend it.

I used this years ago - glad to see it is still around. I have used it as a rinse, but it's really best to use as a deep conditioning treatment by covering hair for 20 to 30 minutes with a plastic cap and then rinsing it out of the hair. I thought it worked wonders!

I show Italian Greyhounds and use it to help keep their skin and hair from drying out. It gives them a beautiful shiny coat. I have people ask me all the time, what I put on them. It just sparkles like a mink coat after it I give them a bath a condition them them! It doesn't make them oily either like some conditioners, even before I rinse them in warm water. I love the results!

I've used this product for more years than I care to admit. I comb a little in and leave it in after washing my hair every day, and it really helps control the curls and dryness. I can't believe it's still available since everything seems to come and go so quickly these days, but I guess you can't beat a classic. And it's a fraction of the price of stuff that doesn't work half as well.

Kolestral Conditioner by Wella is a savior for damaged hair. It will re-condition hair damaged by perms or heated equipment. There are millions of hair conditioners on the market, but this old, non-glamorous product is a hair saver.

I have very dry and flyaway hair without using an intense conditioner. Wella Kolestral has been around a long time and it has stood the test of time. I used it years ago and sort of forgot about it. I started using it again recently and it is such a great hair and scalp conditioner. A friend gave me a sample of Kerastase, a really expensive conditioner. Honestly, although it was good, it wasn't any better than Kolestral at a fraction of the price. Kolestral works best when you work it and warm it up with your hands and then massage it all over your scalp and then put some extra on the ends. Let it sit a few minutes (maybe while you shave your legs) and then rinse thoroughly. I use Kolestral very regularly along with a regular light conditioner. You can't beat it!

after hearing so much about this conditioner, I bought it because it was recommended to me by my hairdresser along with La maur's Bone Marrow. Bone Marrow is a better product. It leaves my hair shiny and silky and I can comb it immediately. I left this product on my hair for about 20 minutes, and my hair was all in tangles. I could hardly comb it out. I broke so much hair trying to comb my hair after rinsing it, I couldn't believe it. My hair was shiny but it doesn't detangle your hair. Let your hair dry first and then comb it out, it works a bit better. Also, I had just dyed my hair, which is a shade from black. I used this a few days after and it took out half the color. I will not be buying this again.

I always use it every time I get my hair dyed.
It softens the hair. I have been using for over 40 years.

The availability of this product locally in this size is scarce. It's a great conditioner & this size gives me more for my money.

Way back when (early seventies) I used this product and found it to be an excellent hair conditioner when my hair was long. Then, for some odd reason, I could not find it anywhere. I did without the product. Several weeks ago I searched the super centers and they didn't even know what it was! Amazon, a place to find most anything, had it listed. The reason I needed this product is for my Shih-Tzu whose long hair defies any other conditioner to release the tangles when she is bathed. Her hair is like a piece of velcro when outside, picking up leaves and small twigs and those "harbingers of hair tanglers" left me baffled as to how to remedy the problem. When I remembered Kolestral and how it managed my own fly away hair, I knew I had to find this product. It was priced right and shipped to me toot-sweet. It was magic...pure magic on her hair. Silky smooth, no tangles, smells delightful and now I have a beautiful Shih-Tzu whose hair flows with the wind. Leaves and twigs do not stick to her and we are both happy as she does not bring the outside inside and her baths are not as frequent. If Kolestral can do wonders on my little dog...think of what it can do for human hair. Two thumbs up to Amazon for having this product listed.
