I'm finally moving up to cleats and cycling shoes, but these pedals have served me extremely well and I'm almost sad to retire them. Good adjustment to get the right fit, wearing trainers is no problem. I actually removed the metal plate that goes around the toe length adjustment screws, and just screwed the screws straight down on to the nylon. I found the pedals more suitable with the flatter surface for you foot with the plate removed, and never had any problems with slipping.

These pedals are an inexpensive way to get a little more power from your pedal stroke. They are a little heavier than I expected. Not that I'm a pro racer so a few onces doesn't really matter much. You will need a 5/8 in. wrench that should be 1/8 to maybe 3/16 inches wide or else it wont fit between the wide part of the pedal shaft and the crank. Once I got this tool from where I work it took no time to swap em out. Used them for a few months with no problems

can't do much better for the price you pay, didn't want clipless pedals for my fixed gear and platform pedals with straps cost more for not even having cages, and there have been decent reviews for this product.

I just got back from a three hour ride on my road bike, and I'm about to take these pedals off my bike. They are not true platform pedals -- there is not a flat surface for your foot, only edges. There is a strange V-shaped set of edges under the ball of your foot, and there is a high edge at the back of pedal. Halfway through the ride, the V-shaped set of edges under the ball of my foot were unbearable, so I did what another reviewer did -- I sat down with an Allen wrench and removed the V-shape from both pedals. The rest of the ride was a little more bearable, but then the back edge became painful too. The other problem with these pedals is that they are very narrow -- half my foot's width hung off the side. I've been commuting with platform pedals for 35 years, but because platforms are so hard to find these days, I took a chance on these pedals with a new road bike. Mistake.

I got this pair of pedals with clips yesterday from my local bike shop to replace older wellgo pedals (lu 209). The plastic clips broke after 4 years of riding year round. These pedals are much nicer than lu-209 --- lighter and the bearings are sealed. I am not completely happy with the plastic clips, but the shop doesn't carry the model with the metal clips. Oh, and the pedals are sitting on a Bianchi Volpe, which I use for commuting to work.
