This is a great product if you are looking to upgrade your pedals, but don't wan't to spend the money ($100 or more, combined) on the clipless pedals and shoes. Sure, they might not be as effective as the spendier clipless setup, but they're better than nothing at all. Worth it.

These are great toe clips for the price. I'm not a serious mountain biker but wanted a toe clip so my feet wouldn't slip off the pedals during bumpy rides and these fit the bill perfectly. I purchased the next larger size clip and they fit great (I have a wide foot). I would definitely recommend these!

Pedals & Clips came apart on the 1 use due to improper mounting hardware. My Feed back was very low. Within 24 hours Perfomance had contacted me and has worked hard to "make it right" on a set of budget pedals.
You cannot ask for more than that so I would like to say that Wellgo (pedal maker) needs higher Quaility control standards and Performance provides top notch service and does care if thier customers are happy with what they buy. I will do my best to deal directly with the company for all future bike needs as this may help reduce the rather high S&H costs.

I wear a size 12/13 shoe depending on the shoe. These clips are not made for big feet. Other than that I did get the pedals because my 250 lbs. broke the plastic pedals that came on my mountain bike. As far as that goes they are working beautifully. Therefore, if you're not sure if you want clips or not, buy it and try it. But not if you got big feet. Plus you may have to cut off the excess of the long straps.

Pedal itself is all metal and feels solid. Clips are plastic but are standing up to my beating on them. The bearings are a bit tough/tight but not terrible. The pedals don't stand off from the crank arms very far so you may rub if you have wide shoes. You can get in and out of the clips pretty easily, so they work well around town or on rough trails.

Overall I'm pretty happy with them.

i know I'm behind the times, but I just don't like the clip in pedals and love the performance/convenience factor of the straps.

Pedals came in production packaging, with clips already attached. I decided to remove the clips and use the pedals alone; I will store the clips in case I decide to use them at a later date. The pedals themselves are durable metal pedals with solid feeling bearings. The clips are not too flexible, so people with very large feet may find issue. The grips on the pedals are as shown in the picture; they are flatter, wider spikes as compared to other pedals which means a little bit less grip, but considering the reduced damage to shins, I find them about right for the casual rider.

GOOD QUALITY,I BOUGHT THESE PEDALS TO EXERCISE MORE LEG MUSCLES THEY DO IMPROVE ON MY SPEED AVERAGE(7%) AFTER A FEW DAYS I STARTED GETTING USED TO THEM I BELIEVE THEY ARE A STEP BEFOFE USING CLIPS WITH PRO BIKE SHEOS.
