You just have to understand how it functions. The water travels a bit slower through the filter than most carafe types because it takes longer to ACTUALLY filter out what you don't want in your water. If the water goes through too fast it is not really catching all the unwanted particles. Further, every so often the filter material becomes dense (and the water flows slower). All you have to do is remove the filter and bang it a couple of times on a counter edge to redistribute the material inside. Then it will flow faster again.

This is a great filter pitcher. I love it..the water tastes cleaner, softer, just better water. I use already purified water that I like but am not just confident enough to use directly. So I clean it thru here and then use that definitely cleaner and fresher water for drinking and cooking. Love it.

Have Well Water and wasn't sure if this would work. Bought this to see if i could notice an improvement in my green smoothies and wheatgrass plants. the wheatgrass is growing like crazy. Love this product.

I'm not comfortable "guessing" when I have to change out a filter. If this unit had some sort of filter change indicator--it would be a 5 star product.

Despite the fact that the lid broke as soon as I took this out of the box - warning: be very careful with the lid - I love this pitcher. We have really horrid water and this pitcher takes all of the bad taste out of the water. I can't see it taking all the dangerous metals and particles and chemicals out of the water but I trust that it does that too. I'm sure that the taste of the water should be the least of my concerns but frankly I love a really neutral glass of water. Water is what I drink all day - allergic to milk, won't drink sugar pop or chemical pop, coffee makes me hyper. So to have a great pitcher of water in the fridge all the time is fantastic. I glued the cover - it broke again. I called for a replacement - they didn't have one and although I wish it weren't broken ..I still stand by my 5 star rating. I can only say the water is worth the badly designed and broken lid. But I wish they'd replace the lid.

The Wellness Carafe creates great tasting water. But now that I need a new filter, there are none to be found. I don't know what the problem is but I fear I may have to buy a different brand to make sure I can replace filters.

I have disgusting tap water and this carafe helps tremendously, on more funky smells or weird tasting water. Unlike the Brita, this lid is much more secure. The only downside to this is that it does filter slowly, but as long as you fill it after you use it it's really not much of a problem, unless you need copious amounts of water immediately, then you may want to find something that filters faster.

I was disappointed in the taste of the water from the filter. I washed all parts as directed, soaked the filter and threw out the first 3 pitchers of water. I used it for a couple weeks hoping the water taste would improve but it did not. I returned the unit.

it really does work, I keep regularity, eat less, feel a difference in concentration/ 'brain fog' (Hashimoto), settles my nerves at work. When i drink the alternative "neutral" water, I feel sick. May be a scam for others, but I am sold!

Pitcher arrived very quickly. We love it. Filters very slow, however the water is the best we have tasted. I have an RO filter and this pitcher gives you better water. My wife who did not drink water except bottled mineral water likes the tast of this filtered water. Over all the fast service, the clean great tasting water I would rate this item 5 stars.
