I was impressed with the number of really clever ideas in this book. The pages are filled with a number of ideas that nearly anyone can do--not just the rich and famous, for whom Wendy does most of her work. It's clear that she's most interested in true family-building--things that provide comfort and growth to children--not just stuff that is for pleasing adults. The book would make a great gift for baby showers.

I just received the "Nesting" book, and I love it! I was kind of stuck as to what kind of things I wanted to include or highlight in my daughters' rooms (we have 4 girls, 8, 6, 3, and 9 months). I am soooo in inspired! Thank you Wendy! The sumptuous photos, and descriptions just made the pages seem like a wonderful friend has joined my decorating "team". The included DVD really made the ideas come to life. I intend to add this to the baby shower gifts for my good friends! A must read!

While it may displease a few that Wendy Bellissimo products aren't available right now, I found this book to be full of ideas that I could put together myself...and I'm not very skilled in that area, believe me. This book is a treasured source of inspiration for me and I found Wendy's willingness to share her personal life a sincere and heartfelt bonus! I saw Wendy on a Television show and the host gushed about this book as a source of inspiration for creating amazing environments. I agree. It's all that and more. I absolutely loved it and the DVD hidden in the back! Get it! You will probably love it too!

I recieved Nesting as a gift and not only can I not put it down but neither can my husband! I had wanted him to get more involved with preparing for the baby, now he's helping me decorate the entire nursery. Thank you Wendy for your vision and inspiration! Any take on this book that is less than stellar I just cannot believe! Nesting is simply a must have!

I bought this book after my second baby was born and boy do I wish I had this when my first was born....actually no, I would have spent too much money designing my daughters' bedroom. Not only do you get ideas for nurseries, but you get ideas for birthday and even decor around the house to have a special environment for your little ones. I love the pictures and really put this book to good use in other areas. I HIGHLY recommend as a great shower gift.

I'm not one to buy design oriented or "Coffee Table" books but my girlfriend gave Nesting to me as a shower gift and I've now flipped through it innumerable times. On bed rest for the balance of my pregnancy I've been fighting to stay positive. This book always helps to bring my spirits up and has been an invaluable tool in guiding my husband on what to buy! Wendy Bellissimo is an inspiration and I thank her for creating a book where there was truly a need. No other baby design book compares! No question you will love it too!

I just received this book from my friend as a congratulations (we just became pregnant with our first) and absolutely love it. I can't stop flipping through it, its so beautiful. I can't wait to start "nesting" myself and was excited to learn that Wendy Bellissimo has her products in Babies R Us. You can bet I'm going to be registering there. I highly recommend this book for first time parents.

My two absolute favorite baby shower gifts to give are this book and the movie "Father of the Bride Part Two". They are both products that will uplift and inspire the beautiful mother to be. This book is fabulous, yet the ideas can be used by even the most uncrafty person! Each book comes with a DVD to show you hands on how to do the crafts in the book! Wendy is such a great example of how to balance work and family...her first priority is clearly her family. Her beautiful family and interior design style will inspire anyone to create a elegant surrounding in their own home. I plan to paint the Italian Vineyard Mural on my Pregnant Friend's wall to welcome the new baby in style! Best of Luck to all of you mothers and your beautiful new babies. This book truly makes motherhood a Joy to look forward to!

This is a lovingly produced book with some beautiful ideas for rooms and for celebrations. It is not really an intense how to book as much as an idea book. I wonder if someone that was not self guided and confident would be able to reproduce the looks shown.

I for one, LOVED this book & the enclosed DVD. Both were thoughtfully and artfully arranged, but it seems after reading other reviews people were looking for something different. This is not a catalogue of wendy's on the market products. If that's what you want, visit her website. This is not a book about someone else's kids. Personally, I was extremely interested in seeing how a married mother of four successfully and creatively manages her life; it gives a glimpse of that. The title is COMPLETELY acurate. It's called, Nesting, people. She gives suggestions for layouts of the nursery with photographic examples. If you didn't want something from her point of view, why buy the book?
