5.0 out of 5 stars Really great, December 21, 2007

I own several Swiss Army Knives and normally think the Victorinox ones are in general better than Wenger ones, both are official Swiss Army Knives this one is fantastic. I own the model with the rubberized EvoGrip. This is truly a mini tool kit. It has several Wenger innovations. The blade locks. Both the straight and Phillips screwdrivers also lock when you apply pressure. There is no danger of the screwdriver folding on you with blunt tool trauma. The scissors and pliers have a built in spring as opposed to the Victorinox which is stronger. It also has a small universal wrench. The only down side there might be is that it is a bit bulky for the pocket but works fine there.

One note: One thing it doesn't have because it is patented by Victorinox is the mini screwdriver that fits in the cork screw. I did however order a Victorinox mini screw driver and it fits perfectly in the Wenger cork screw.

5.0 out of 5 stars The biggest I'd want for my purse, October 26, 2011

This review is from: Wenger 16817 Evolution Lock S 557 Swiss Army Knife Ergo Grip With Safety Lock Blade (Tools & Home Improvement)
I bought this model because I wanted a tool / knife that included pliers without being unpleasantly heavy in my purse. This one is about the biggest I'd want for my purse, but it fills the bill nicely. Recommended!

This review is from: Wenger 16817 Evolution Lock S 557 Swiss Army Knife Ergo Grip With Safety Lock Blade (Tools & Home Improvement)
Safety Lock is what sold us on this product.
It was a gift to a young teenager.
Lots of features.
It should last him a lifetime.

5.0 out of 5 stars The one knife with everything I wanted..., August 30, 2010

I spent quite a bit of time looking for a pocket tool or knife that had the combination of features I wanted. This seems to be the only one. Knife blade, pliers, scissors and tweezers. As an added bonus, it has a wrench! I am quite happy with it. It is not a little too large for my pocket, which did concern me when I bought it, so that is good.
