The Best Knife Ever,
By
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I've owned the previous edition to this knife for over 6 years. It has regular handles and does not have a hole punch. I've used it almost every day since the day I've had it. The uses for it have been innumerable. I don't go anywhere without it and don't ever plan to. I feel naked with out it!

I bought this as a replacement for another Wenger knife that I lost. That lasted me a very long time. The new ergo grips are a nice touch; it adds a bit more bulk, but not enough to compromise its portability. I prefer this model over the one with less tools as I feel the grip is a bit better and the additional tools are handy. It doesn't add a significant thickness and still feels good in my pocket.

Excellent Precision Tool,

Let me begin by saying that I absolutely LOVE this little pocket knife. I have owned a Victorinox "Tinker" Swiss Army Knife for over 10 years, and I think it is an excellent knife, too. But I wanted to buy something a little smaller and lighter. The Wenger 16909 Evolution 88 was the perfect choice for me. Why? Well, it is truly a precision instrument. It is Swiss Made and everything works perfectly!!! In particular, the little scissors that Wenger has designed is an engineering marvel. These self-sharpening scissors REALLY work, and (in my opinion) they are a much better design than the one that Victorinox uses. In addition, the red plastic scales on this knife are ergonomically correct. Without a doubt, a lot of thought went into designing and engineering this little knife, and I really appreciate that. The next time you are banging your head against the wall trying to figure out what to buy your father or husband as a small gift, go to Amazon.com and buy this knife. If he likes precision tools, he will like this little knife!

Wenger Evolution 88-OK,

It's tiny--tools are OK for small work. Bottle opener doesn't grip the bottle cap very well. Useful for travel if you're going someplace that doesn't allow a full-size Swiss Army Knife.
