I absolutely love this watch. It looks great and is very easy to read. It is a larger watch, but not so large that it is cumbersome. The black on black color is very stylish.
My only negative about the watch is actually about the band. The watch has come off of my wrist twice because the pins that hold the band to the watch aren't that strong. Both times I was clapping my hands when the band separated from the watch.

Great watch, but there are two things that prevent the watch from receiving 5 stars - the metal pins that hold the bands on and the length of the bands.

The pins are very.... cheap... Which is surprising because the watch is very rugged feeling and seems very durable. I would not be surprised if the watch fell off one day as I wore it.

The band is very comfortable, but too short. It's approximately 7.6-7.7 inches long. If the band was about 8.0-8.2 inches, it would be perfect. I have very large hands and a large wrist and have to use the second to last hole when putting it on. It looks weird.

I have very mixed feelings about this watch. I didn't buy it off of Amazon, I got it from a watch shop at the mall. The watch nearly perfect. The price is great here (I paid much more by buying it from an authorized dealer). I love how it looks, I love that it is a heavy watch, and how well everything works. I would definitely recommend this watch to others with the exception of one thing. I took this watch on a cruise I went on to Cabo. I went swimming in the ocean with this watch for several hours and the glass fogged up and took several months to evaporate. I have never had this problem with any other watch when swimming. Maybe it was my fault for wearing it in the water but I was under the impression that it was resistant to a greater depth of water than six feet. That said, I still love the watch. I won't wear it swimming again though. I own two Wenger watches. I get complements on them everyday. Highly recommended for everyone but the swimmer.

Upon opening the box I found the band to be detached from the watch body. I read an earlier review stating the band came off during clapping. I attached the band and it indeed came off again. The watch itself is beautiful, but I had to return it. Can't see spending $210 on a sport watch that might fall off.

The watch design style and functions are the best for the money. It runs on a high end Swiss ETA movement and is highly accurate when compared to an atomic clock or watch. This watch has not gain or loss a second in 2 weeks when compared to atomic clock time. Unlike expensive 100% mechanical chronographs, winding or self-winding (automatic), this electromechanical watch with its stepping motors can provide stop watch accuracy to 1/10th second or 100 msec. One draw back is that as a stopwatch, it cannot keep track of elapsed time beyond 30 minutes. There just isn't enough space on the dial to add another one hour or 12 hours subdial. Two features that make this chronograph stand out against comparable ones. One is the cockpit instrument design which allow easy reading in low light conditions and legibility of the hands and numbers (both very large). The other feature is the chronograph function buttons which do not protrude from the watch case but yet can be pushed in with ease with your finger tips and not so small like other chronographs that you need to use your fingernails.

A unique piece, but not as bulky as the TWC Steel. Rugged with the Wenger/Swiss Army reputation, square body takes a day to get used to, but the instrument look really grabs attention. Compared to the TWC or Bell Howell, the look is great, accuracy and durability are excellent.

I recommend this watch for active people, who love the water and are a bit rough on their watches. So, far it has handled a couple of dives, and 3 days in the woods camping, rafting, and hiking.
Hope this helps.

I loved the look of this watch and for a few weeks was really happy with my purchase, it stood up to some punishment and also drew admiring comments. But then while doing some sports the strap broke. I don't know necessarily if it is particularly weak point but it just popped of and tore the rubber right through. This in itself is not a major issue I thought it would be easy to get a replacement - not so, just one small distributor of these parts in the UK and apparently the line has been discontinued so there are no spares. Have to accept something similar, but not as good as your original purchase.

Purchased from Sam's Club, great buy $190 but....watch just stopped after 6 months. Band has two retainers that keep band end secured but after 3 months retainer broke. These two retainers are made of same material as band and two are needed to keep band secure. I had to take a retainer off another watch I had to use on this watch. The watch was under warrantee so I sent it to Wenger. I received it back in working order after a few weeks. I requested a new retainer but I never got one. There was no explanation, just a repaired watch. There are three dials on watch, a ten second, 60 second, and a 30 minute elapse timer. The ten second timer is a mystery to me as I can never get it to start. It will reset, but it just won't start timing. But with a 3 year warrantee, and a great looking watch, I recommend this watch with reservations.

Addition to review 5/13/2014: the Silicon watch band broke at the connection to the watch body. I called Wenger and they stated due to warehouse renovations Wenger would not be able to provide replacement bands and advised looking at other options or outlets for it. Because this band is 24mm wide. It is a very odd size and difficult to find a replacement silicone band. I finally found an outlet in China that makes replacement silicon bands this size and ordered two of them. This band seems to be more robustly made. Time will tell, but the Wenger Silicone Band is not up to par as it should be.
