The Wenger Swiss Military Battalion #72456 is a fine example of Swiss quality, craftmanship and precision.

The watch looks great having the black dial and a prominent red second hand that hits the tick marks precisely. The numerals, markings and clarity of the crystal are all sharp. The hands and markings are large and easy to read. The size and weight are just right. The brushed stainless steel case and two tone band are sturdy and the links are easy to remove.

This watch looks and feels like a much more expensive timepiece. The $80.00 I paid was a bargain that I could not pass up. I also own the Wenger 72458 "sister watch" which is the blue version of this watch with a stainless steel watch band. The blue dial version sells for even less @$65.00. However, this one's appearance is somewhat nicer with the gold accents and two tone band. Both watches are 200M water resistant.

This Swiss timepiece is very accurate within 1/10 sec a day as advertised. The packaging is very nice in the elegant Wenger steel case. This is not a throwaway box.

One issue that I did encounter is the stem doesn't always click into the correct position to perform date or time reset. I would rate 5 stars if it was not for this.

Wenger #72456 is a fine Swiss quality watch to add to your watch collection. I highly recommend purchasing this item. You won't go wrong.
