4.0 out of 5 stars Missing one little detail.
I have had the watch for about two months now and am generally pleased.
Time keeping seems to be fairly accurate. Date function is always nice.
The lunar moon phase timer is working as advertised. The tide function
of the watch works equally well too. The overall look of the watch is
great. Not that I care, but I have had a few people comment on...

2.0 out of 5 stars Illumination
Agree with previous review, I wish I had seen it prior to purchasing the watch. All functions of this watch work very well except the fact that it is impossible to see at night or in low light. This is a serious drawback and would have been enough for me to have not purchased it. I didn't realize any company sold outdoor watches lacking the illumination feature.

I have had the watch for about two months now and am generally pleased.

The lunar moon phase timer is working as advertised. The tide function
of the watch works equally well too. The overall look of the watch is
great. Not that I care, but I have had a few people comment on how cool
the watch looks. Overall I am very satisfied with watch. However the watch has
no form of illumination. Neither a built in light or glow markers
on the hands. I made the mistake of assuming it did. This is the only
shortcoming I have found. My primary use for the watch is fishing. So I
typically have a flashlight on me. But seriously, come on Wenger you
make all kinds of outdoor products, someone dropped the ball. Lack
of illumination was the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

1.0 out of 5 stars glass chips, May 25, 2011
This review is from: Wenger Men's 7083 AquaGraph Tide Swiss Watch (Watch)
My Wenger tide and time glass is chipped because the glass edge is not protected by the bezel.
Wenger acknowledged my emailed complaint but would not reply.

I love this watch it is super accurate as a tides watch and the timekeeping feature lives up to it's swiss origins. killer look too , most of the other watches have a tide feature relefate it to a tiny display almost as an afterthought. if you are a boat's skipper or a surf this is the watch for you . I bought both the stainless bracelet and the rubber band model.

The aquagraph tide watch by wenger is defnetly somthing you don't see everywhere! You can have it either with the stainless steel bracelet or a rubber wrist band. I choosed the model with the rubber bracelet beacause of the color! It's a pale shade of blue and to me it seemed right for this "aquatic" watch. The bracelet does match the blue on the watch's dial. You also find other colors on the dial such as red and silver. The blue ont my watch turned out to be slighly darker than it appeared on the photos but not really worth mentionning! The watch comes in a pretty shiny metal box with the swiss embleme on it and the box is presented in a black cartoon sheild box.
The watch is very easy to adjust, READ INSTRUCTION CARFULLY before doing any adjustments, YOU HAVE TO UNSCREW the adjusting knob and pull it to be able to proceed to the adjustments. You wil need the moon phase and tide hours to adjust the "tide" function but you can find these very easily on the web! The instructions says that the mouvement of the watch as for the "tidal" part have been created for the atlantic ocean region. I live close to the atlantic but not on it's waterfront and the watch is keeping an acceptable record of the tide around my place. It's running slighly behind.
Some peoples mentionned that the watch is missing ligh for it' dial and this is true. For me, I think that the watch look so great that I don't mind that!

In the end, I am very happy with my new watch, you can see it's a quality item especially worth it at the price offered on amazone. After all, it is a genuine wenger swiss made watch!!
