Wenger Swiss Military Men's 72974 Retro Military Watch

This is a very handsome, masculine watch. The face gives off brownish gold glints of reflection
when hit by the sun. A nice touch. The luminescence is super bright. The second-hand actually
lands on the markers (unlike most of my other watches)! The bezel and stem are polished, setting
them apart from the brushed finish of the rest of the watch. It's a very traditional and basic watch--
no rotating bezel or extraneous numbers. Goes great with jeans and brown boots. The leather band
alone could go for at least $25, so $88 (inc. shipping) for the whole watch is a great deal.

Beware: junky product with bad customer support.

I got this watch because Wegner is affiliated with Swiss Army - a brand I trust. But I have had a terrible experience with this timepiece:

· 1/20/11: I purchased the watch new here on Amazon
· 1/27/11: Watch arrives at my mail box.
· 3/1/11: Watch starts to run slow. I replaced the battery. This does not help it.
· 3/7/11: Return the watch to Wenger for warranty repair.
· 4/1/11: Receive watch back.
· 4/2/11: I notice the watch continues to run slow.
· 4/4/11: I (again) return the watch to Wenger.
· 4/12/11: Certified mail indicates Wenger receives the watch.
· 5/13/11: Despite several emails to Wenger, they won't tell me when it'll be mailed back.

So I got one month of use out of the watch. And now I'm going on three months of supposed repair. It's been broken three times longer than it worked. They have not responded to my emails for a new watch or a simple refund.

The seller of the watch, TimeZone123, has been no help whatsoever.

Update on 5/29/11: Still no watch, though I'm told it was shipped a week ago. They must have mailed it parcel post. Worst. Customer. Service. Ever.
