For some reason in the past, I had gotten my son a little kiddie tent that we had set up in the great room - probably along the time he was 2 or 3 and crawling through tunnels and such. Unfortunately that ended up being something he liked - having his own tent, his own little escape area. Better than his bedroom even. Now he's 8, and still likes having a tent for his own private area. I had a similar construction 4x4 one up till this point, but it was getting a little small for the stuff he likes to store in there, and I thought I'd look for something larger. I couldn't find any 5x5 tents, so had to go with this even larger one. Unfortunately that meant completely rearranging my great room, which we did yesterday in preparation of its arrival. It came well boxed, in a small zippered carrying pouch. The fiberglass rods, stakes (so it can actually be used outside unlike his other one) and the tent were all in good shape, and I spread it out and got the poles in without any issues.

It's pretty well made, especially for something under 30 bucks and it's huge compared to the last one - he jumped from 16 sq feet to 30, so he's loving it. The rear window unzips but is pretty small. Door opens nice and holds itself open well with the little strap - one reason I was eager to replace the smaller one he had, the doors were a horrible design.

There's even a small mesh pouch sewn into the right rear of the tent, maybe 10x10 inches, to store things.

For the price, there's no way to go wrong with this thing.

I bought this for my 6 year old grandson. I set it up as soon as I got it to make sure all the pieces were there. I am very happy with this tent. I think he will have a good time with it. I don't think it would last through a great many camping trips but for backyard fun, its great.

This is a easy to pitch tent that I put together with my 4 year old for his birthday on our leaving room.
The size of the tent is perfect for kids and the colors are really inviting to play to.
this tent is constructed the same way of our more expensive Coleman tent and has a bathtub floor to to keep away the moisture.
The only downside will be the sipper that I don't think is though enough to with stand the abuse of kids getting in an out every minute for 5 hours a day. Time will tell.

I leave 5 stars because the low price and the fun for the buck!

This tent is way better than I expected. It's a real tent for kids! I watch seven children after school and they're not exactly "easy" on things...this tent can take the abuse! It's very well made. Thanks to other customer reviews, I made the right choice again on Amazon! Best bang for the buck!

Note: My husband is 6'2" and he cannot "stretch out" in this tent as it's 6 x 5...(actually more like 5.5' x 4.5') but he can kinda curl up in the fetal position, lol!

Our son has slept in this tent EVERY NIGHT since we got it. He loves it...(what kid doesn't love a good tent?)
There's a pocket inside of it to hold small toys and such. There's also a loop on the inside ceiling to hang our camping lantern.

We love this tent so much, we're going to buy another one so the children are not fighting for "real estate" in the tent! GOOD BUY! :)

We bought this tent for our two young grandsons and set it up on a screened in porch. They really enjoyed it. It is a good size and well made. It was nicer than I expected and a good value for the money.

I was looking for a play tent for my kids that was big enough for adults, too. I set this tent up in our living room when it arrived. It was fairly easy to set up by myself. The kids love it. The quality is excellent, better than I expected for the price. I can sit in the tent with both of my kids with room to spare. They like the little pocket in the back of the tent for storing small toys and books. I know we will get a lot of use out of this tent both indoors and out.

I perhaps didn't read the other reviews carefully enough, to see that people were mostly using this indoors as a play tent. I bought three of these to house six children (ages six through ten) for a week. They were on the small side for two kids to sleep in, but more importantly, two of them essentially self-destructed as they were being assembled. The carbon-fiber poles, when flexed too far by a careless camper, splintered into very dangerous and pointy shards. Several kids and adults got very nasty carbon-fiber splinters in the process. The rain fly on the top is minimal, and (because most of the exterior is not breathable), the tents tended to get damp inside from condensation, though they didn't admit the (very light) rain that we had one day.

These may function OK as indoor play tents, but they really aren't up to any kind of real outdoor camping, in my opinion.

I wanted a tent that my boys (ages 4 and 5 1/2) could play-in in the house during raining days. This tent is perfect for that and more. It's well made, ease to setup and ease to take down. After I set it up in the house, I realized that it's well made enough to be a nice camping tent for them too (it even has a fly for the top). Highly recommend!
