This guy is awesome. I got it for a church camping trip. My wife and I decided to go at the last moment, so 3 days before I was looking for a cheap tent online, and stumbled on this guy. Its a very small tent, and I dont recomend it for anyone taller than 5'8. (I am 5'8 and my wife is 4'11) I had just enough room to stretch. The package also says it fits a third person, and it does, but I wouldnt recomend it.

Setting up was simple. It took me 10 minutes to put it all together, and thats because we were late and setting up in the dark. Taking it apart was just as easy.

The only drawbacks are the zippers. They get caught on the fabric very easily. And since it is so small, you can feel the condensation on the walls, and if you bump your head on the wall, its going to rain in your tent. (Im exagerating it's not that bad)

The most awesome part was storage. It fits anywhere. the pouch where it goes in is about a foot and 4 inches.

In my opinion, this tent was awesome. It did it's job (provide shelter from the 30 degree weather outside); It didnt rip, And it was only 20 bucks!

It's a fabulous sunny-weather tent, realtively cozy for two persons of average size and weight....but when it rains it POURS. It LEAKS through every cross-hatched weave of thread it's made of. You'll scream like I screamed, curse like the sailor you will be whilst drifting about, angrily wondering why you decided to let your desire to save a little dough has literally drowned you in sorrow.....and it wasn't even a heavy rain. Alas.

I bought two of these tents for my kids. We camp in the desert (southern California) in a toy hauler. The kids needed their own space, and a place to put their gear.

This is perfect for that. It comes with a rain tarp, and if you don't use it, you have perfect star viewing at night. I'm 5'5 and slept in it with my 7 year old son very comfortably, with all our gear.

No, it's not for the serious backpacker/camper. Not really for an adult couple either. But perfect for younger camping on the beach, desert, backyard...heck yeah!

Easy to set up.. well made.. only complaint is that it is pretty tight in there.. 6 foot length is not a full 6 foot length for actually stretching out. IF you are under 6 feet, this tent would be great.

What can I say, I took it camping on a cold night and it worked, no condensation (I had the vestibule cracked). I bought seam sealler and sealed it, a must do in all tents. I also sprayed layer of water repealent spray can, found in local sports shop. I haven't used the tent in rainy conditions, but I know since I took my time and prept it the Wenzel tent will do nicely in rainy conditions. (Just don't be lazy and prept your tents)
It was easy to wrap and carry on my camping bag.
Easy to set up.
Easy to break down and wrap up.
It comes with pegs.
Nice cool organizer thing in tent.
It rocks.
My recommendation, well for the price, Buy it!!!
Later on when I save much more, about $150 I'll buy a nicer tent, but I can't really afford that now.

This is a great tent for backyard sleepovers for kids. However, I would not want want to venture into bad weather with $20 between me and mother nature.

Excellent tent for a travlin man, great construction and easy set up. I will recommend this for average sized people ( no more than 2 ) and is light wieght for back packing.

I bought this tent as a starter backpacking tent, figuring I would upgrade if/when I became a bit more serious about backpacking.

I have now used it twice. First of all, it's light and that is GREATLY appreciated for a novice backpacker. Lying two adults (both 5'8") the "long way" there was just enough space for us both to stetch out completely as well as store both of our backpacks with in the tent. The tiny "gear loft" is perfect for holding glasses, a head lamp and even a fan to keep you lit and cool.

I've had no problem with zippers and my only regret about the tent's construction in general is that they didn't offer a mesh window/vent in the back as well (I live in Florida).

As for the rain... Having read the reviews here, I brought a "back up plan" of a plain plastic drop cloth to throw over the tent and tie to the base of the poles just in case. Besides the fact that it was boiling hot (again, camping in Florida in August -- so I'm not sure that that's really the tent's fault), we stayed high and dry no problem. I'm even tempted to say that the tent might have held up fairly well against the rain on its own, but I can't say for sure.

Seeing how well the make shift rain fly worked, I purchased some seam sealer and a nicer tarp which I cut in to a more reulation rain fly. Since the poles are on the outside, you can stretch a rain fly over the top of the tent, hooking it to the base, and maintain that separation between fly and tent for ventillation purposes. The point being that there is an easy $15 solution to the "leaky tent" issue.

All in all, it's been a great tent for the price if you're prepared to either choose your camping dates around weather or improvise a little.

Bought 2 of these for backpacking scouts. Is lightweight and packs easily. Easy to set up. However, how they can say the width is 6' is beyond me. My husband who is 5'8" has to sleep diagonal. Good for smaller scouts.

I purchased this tent for my daughter really as a play toy so I could stop having to build her a tent out of the kitchen table chairs and blankets. It's been wonderfully functional for that. She enjoys having a real tent and it's added something to the adventure. Easy to setup, seems well constructed, though the zippers on the door and window aren't the most sturdy. It's not too hard to get them caught in the fabric around the zipper. Other than that it's good.
