5.0 out of 5 stars Good tent
I like this tent more than the other reviewer. I used it for one night with my son, and it worked well. Woke up dry and happy.

It's got about a 4 foot height, so you definitely can't stand up in it, but it is a legit 7 feet by 7 feet. Pretty good size. Haven't seen anything on the market at this price.

You really can't expect much for $25 and this tent packs a lot of bang for the buck. If it wasn't for the incredible frustration I had with the zippers, this would be an easy four- or five- star review.

Pros:
-Price
-Performance
-Ease of setup/breakdown

Other things I liked:
-Easy to get in and out of (D-style door is a plus)
-Fiberglass poles and overall easy set-up.

I forgot...I did use a seam sealer for all the edges of the tent. Worked well.

Still can't believe the price.

Since when were tents this affordable? I just received this tent yesterday. I set it up in my backyard, and I like the way it looks. Easy to set-up. Intuitive.

This is not a tent that I am going to use to climb a mountain, but rather use for easy day trips around the area.

Everyone calls these tents 2 or 3 person tents. But, I am certainly going to use just as a two person. I am 5'9" and my wife's the same height as well. We will be snug sleeping next to one another, but it will work...and at this price? Why not.

Realistically, I am hoping that this will work for the next few trips out. If it lasts for 7 years, then this is the best buy on the market.

Last thought-- I think some folks will like this in their backyard. A good family tent for sleepovers or for playing in the backyard or campsite...

It stuck. When it wasn't sticking, it was getting mis-toothed. When it wasn't doing either of these things, it was sitting there being sweared at because the pull-tab had snapped off completely. Had it been a lovely summer night, this would've just been an inconvenience. Unfortunate, Wisconsin was experiencing record low temperatures and not being able to close the tent door would have been disastrous. Anyway, stupid zippers.

The tent is very easy for one person to set up alone. The interior is roomy and the center height is sufficient for easy movement within the tent.

The Wenzel Tent I purchased is very nice. It has plenty of room, more than I was expecting and it was exactly what I was looking for. In fact the first weekend I used it I had sleep through a storm and the tent kept me dry. It's great.

5.0 out of 5 stars Survived a severe thunderstorm., June 19, 2008

We recently purchased this tent for a car camping trip in West Virginia, prepping it first with a seam sealer (as you should on any tent). This tent is VERY easy to set up, roomy enough for 2 people and a few belongings, has a handy if small loft, and survived a night of brutal severe thunderstorms. A great buy for $30.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great tent for the price, February 25, 2008

I just got this tent on Friday. On Saturday my husband and I camped out in the backyard ( with our beagle in between us :) ). It was very easy to set up like the other reviewers have stated. Great quality for the price. We didn't have any trouble with the zippers... though I was extra careful with them as other reviewers seemed to have trouble with them. First time 'camping' experience with this tent was a good one!

Update 5/19/09: We've taken this tent camping about 3 times now and absolutely love it! It's just enough room for my husband and I, an air mattress, and space for small bags and accessories on either side. It holds up very well and we've had no problem with critters creeping inside at night or water getting into the tent (it rained a bit when we camped this past weekend). Extremely easy to set up and break down.

I have to say though, there is no way three people would fit comfortably in this tent. It is definitely just for two people in my opinion!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good deal - you can't go wrong, July 12, 2007
This review is from: Wenzel Pinon Sport 7-by 7-Foot Three-Person Dome Tent (Sports)
I was looking for a cheap but good starter tent for my recent middle age interest in camping - go figure.
I set it up in the driveway to test it out and it was easy to put together.Considering my limited experience (I haven't gone camping in over 40 years) most of you should have no problems.
I got in it and I could see myself plus another person but three would be to cramped ( I'm 6'2")
The quality looks good too and the zippers worked well.

this tent is a quaint little tent good for couples. i used this tent for a weekend camping trip with my hubby and had no trouble whatsoever setting up, it was pretty easy and took only about 15-20 minutes. it was pretty durable and everything felt secure. a good price for a good tent.

This is a good pick if you need something right away and don't want to pay a lot for it. Be sure to apply seam sealer to the seams or you are sure to be wiping down the inside of the tent in the rain. I used this tent in Vermont during the wettest time of the year. It rained very hard at times and the tent did a fairly good job of keeping us dry. It leaked a little bit around the door zipper and in the back along the utility pocket. Overall it is a good tent for the money and it was quick to set up.
