My husband and I purchased this mattress for our toy hauler. Wow! I cannot say enough good things! I am a chronic sciatica sufferer and this mattress HELPED! We are actually giving one away as a wedding present.

Indulge, you won't be disappointed. Only drawback... it's heavy. I suggest storing it in a bag with wheels. I am so serious... I have back surgery scheduled for next week. This mattress will be my recovery bed at home.

I love, love, love this bed! I have had chronic back and sciatica problems for 13 years and see a pain management physician for this. It is IMPOSSIBLE for me to sleep flat. If I do sleep flat, I wake up in tremendous pain. I have an adjustable bed at home that I use to sleep on. I have been very limited in the places I can go, due to the need to have an adjustable bed.

I took this bed on a camping trip this last weekend and used it in my tent. It was awesome!!! The bed inflates to full inflation in 3-4 minutes time and completely deflates in the same amount of time. After setting up my tent site and unloading my camping gear, I was hurting very badly by the time I went to bed. I thought I was not going to be able to walk the next day. I slept on this bed and elevated the head and foot of the bed to my usual positions. When I woke up the next morning, I had no pain whatsoever!!! It was as good, if not better, than my bed at home.

Naturally, you will lose some air with an airbed, especially when they are new. The instructions tell you to expect that. I added a little bit more air the second night, but that was all that was needed. Adding air is so simple to do with the remote right there in your hand. You can do it while laying in bed. It is nice to be able to adjust the amount of air needed while in the bed. You can also adjust the firmness of the head or feet, which is really nice. If you want the feet firmer, while having the head less firm, you have that option with this bed. How nice is that!!!

DRAWBACKS: There are only a few, and the drawbacks I found are not a big deal. The flock material that the bed is covered with really does keep the sheets from moving and makes it very challenging for you to turn over yourself. Next time I use it, I am going to add a mattress pad to the bed and see if that makes turning easier. The sheets did not move at all! The other thing is I wished I could have purchased this in a smaller size, especially for camping. A twin or full size would have been more than sufficient. But, as I understand it, this is a new product. Hopefully, other size options will be available in the future. My dogs were certainly grateful for the queen size, as this allowed them plenty of room to sleep on the bed as well. It would also be nice if the pump could be run off a battery power pack, but I just camped where electric hook-ups were available and ran an extension cord into my tent. I will do whatever is needed to make this bed work, because it is sooooooooo comfortable and has freed me up to do so much more!!!

I would HIGHLY recommend this bed to anyone in need of this kind of bed for sleeping OR to anyone who just wants an adjustable bed. I couldn't be happier!!! It is so nice to know that I can now go anywhere, anytime and can have a GREAT bed to sleep on when I get there! All I need is the space to set it up! Thank you Wenzel!!!

The pump on the first bed stopped functioning as I was attempting to deflate and re inflate. Camping Station gave me a specific extension to call after I was bounced around from Amazon to the Camping Station (actual vendor) to Wenzel (manufacturer). Could not reach the person at Wenzel so when I called the camping station back the rep took over, put me on hold and called Wenzel himself. He was able to contact the supervisor of the Wenzel rep who in turn got her on the line (I'm still on hold). After hearing my situation she told the Camping Station rep she would ship a new bed that afternoon or next morning. Long story short, I received the new bed 4 days later (including the Labor Day holiday-impressive) and had already punctured, deflated and disposed of the first bed (as they informed I could do). The 2nd bed is nice but when I inflate to my desired firmness it does not hold. About 1/2 way through the night I wake up and the bed is squishy. I have slept on either a firm mattress with a bed board or extra firm mattress for nearly 40 years so this is no good. I am in the process if requesting a refund. I already have a 22" high queen air bed that stays quite firm and only cost $50.00. Eventually I'm sure I'll bite the bullet and get the REAL Number Bed air bed.
