The tent itself is very nice. It is easy to setup with a minimum of 2 people. It is very roomy inside. I had three male adults in the tent and it was very comfortable. 3 average size male adults is very comfortable for this tent. 4 average size male adults would be just right. Overall, it is a very nice tent. Enjoyed my two weekends (4 nights) camping in this tent. It also held up well in light to medium rain. Haven't been able to test it for heavier rain yet.The only downside is that there does seem to be a zipper problem. If you open the tent too fast or even normal speed it seems to get caught on the orange part which protects the zippers and keeps out moisture I presume. It didn't get stuck to the point where I couldn't take it out, but nevertheless, it does seem to be annoying. However, if you go slower opening the tent and mindful of that the orange part can get stuck, then this problem can be overlooked in my opinion. Despite this problem, I really like the tent. Excellent price for the size. Would have given it 5 out of 5 stars but would say it is 3.8-4.0 out of 5.0

on the plus side, it didn't leak in a severe rain storm and has a lot of capacity for the cost. on the negative, the zippers were constantly getting snagged on the fringe around them...it was ridiculous to have to keep untangling it every time i opened and closed the tent. maybe i had a defective one, but it seemed more like a design flaw. i've had great luck with wenzel tents in the past (cheap and usually very reliable), but i'd skip this model. the door's zipper eventually got so snagged that i had to cut it out in order to have some kind of functioning door, and the tent got ended up getting abandoned after one use. displeased.

I really liked that this was easy to set up. We got to our camping spot at 10:00 at night and had never set it up before. It only took about 10 minutes to get it up. It had plenty of space inside for our queen air mattress, and being tall I was able to stand up.The only problem I found was a manufacturing problem. When I went to unzip the flaps the zipper had been sewed over. I had to take a knife and cut the threads to get them open. Now I will have to re-sew them. But a nice tent for the money and for the couple times a year camper.

Okay, I haven't camped since Girl Scouts, but I really liked this tent. You cannot beat the deal on this roomy tent -- plenty of room for two or even three picky middle-aged women (or me on one giant double air mattress with two dogs and inflatable living room seating). I called it The Nylon Palace. This is easy to set up, even for one person, but I recommend a dry run in the yard at home to figure it out before camping. I used a tarp underneath to protect the tent, and had to use the rain fly, because it poured on me and the doggies all night long. Be sure that you REALLY get the front zippers (yes, they might catch on the protecting flap if you try to zip or unzip quickly - but really, why would you complain at this price?) all the way closed in the rain, as a 1.5" opening will result in rain in the tent -- I lost a camera, but that was my bad. The rain fly could be more generous, but all in all, it was a great, comfortable, easy-to-assemble and easy to take down tent. I can't wait to use it again. This time I bought small camping tables for the electronics. And a cot. So I laugh at any rain.

I think this tent has everything you can expect for the price with one exception. The zipper gets stuck with annoying frequency. Value per dollar 5 stars. Expect to be annoyed.

I bought this tent for a 2 night camping trip with my husband and two young daughters (ages 6 and 4). We have a king size air mattress and planned on all 4 of us sleeping on it. The king size mattress just barely fit inside so there was hardly any walking room around the mattress. We didn't even put up the divider curtain that would turn it into a 2 room tent, it would make an already small tent even smaller. I could barely stand inside (I'm 5'2") and my husband (6'2") had to crawl around. The tent does have a problem with the zipper. The zipper is extremely taut and caught easily in the orange outer seam. In fact, I was afraid that the zipper seam would pop when we were zipping it closed. However, it was easily set up and taken down, once we settled down for the night we all slept very comfortably inside, and it withstood wind gusts up to 25 mph for 2 days!!! It had good ventilation even with the rain fly on. Despite the aforementioned issues, it was a good little tent for a 2 night trip, taking into consideration the amount of money we paid for it. We'll probably keep it for backyard tent sleep overs and slumber parties for the girls, but will get something bigger for future family camping trips.

Broke in the wind,

I was hesitant about purchasing my first non eureka tent... First Time out with this tent and on the fourth day of our family camping trip this year, the wind decided to blow a little harder than this cheap wenzel tent could stand. One of the two frame poles snapped in two separate places and then ripped through the rain fly. I called customer service, they said it wasn't covered by warranty (go figure!) and they want almost the cost of the tent for two replacement parts! I don't recommend wenzel! I think I will stick with a quality eureka tent that I know will protect my family for many years.

I lived out of this tent for three weeks weathering thunderstorms, a heatwave, and a few unseasonably cold nights. It held up fairly well, all things considered. It wasn't terribly difficult for one rather short person to set up. Took about ten minutes altogether. A bit harder to take down because it didn't seem to want to roll tight enough to fit back in the carry bag, but that's a common problem for me with a tent this size. I'm not sure five people could fit comfortably, maybe four in tight quarters. Perfect for just one with plenty of room for a twin air mattress, folding chair, folding table and lots of gear. Yes, there is a slight issue with the zipper getting stuck, but if you're careful to zip and unzip slowly it's really not that big a deal. I did encounter a small leak. I thoroughly waterproofed it before I left home but still found a small puddle in the corner right of the door. Found no tears or punctures and no problem with the rain fly, so I'm going to assume it's a structural issue...but not a huge problem, all in all.

This is a great tent, sturdy zippers, good insulation, good poles, but it is small. it fits a queen size air mattress and a couple duffe ebags. nothing else. do not be fooled by the 4 - 5 person rating. Otherwise it is a great tent.

It was roomy enough for two twin air mattresses and our bags. As novice campers, we were very satisfied. I wished it had a place for shoes.
