Very easy to set up was able to do it by myself.
Keith Russell
Not only were the metal supporting arms bent, twisted, and snapped, but one of the actual solid steel rivets holding the arms together was actually snapped in half.
Sebago
It is lightweight and durable enough to use repeatedly.

We received the screen room in a very short period of time. It took almost 2 hours to figure out how to set up the first time.

There are a number of defaults in the product.

1) The screen Velcros to the canopy at only two spots. This means that the bugs would crawl up the screen, right up into the canopy and into the area where we sat. It ended up there were probably more bugs inside than outside because it was easier for them to get in but they could not figure out how to leave.

2) once you have the screen room up there was supposed to be a tie strap to anchor the screen room to the frame. As in a typical Chinese product, one end the tie wrap was inside the screen the other was outside the screen. Therefore, you could not tie the screen room to the frame. When it was sewed the tie should have been folded over on itself and been sewn to the inside of the screen therefor both sides of the tie wrap would've been on the inside allowing you to tie it to the frame.

3) the zipper for the door openings seem to be quite inadequate in terms of its size. On one side of the screen the zipper went up to close it on the opposite panel of the screen the zipper went down to close it. Not sure why they didn't sew them to operate in the same directions.

4) there were even elastic straps with little clips on the end of them to hold the screen together in the corners. The stitching on that was poor and in one case just trying to stretch the strap the stitching started to come loose.

It looks to me as if they have a great canopy in terms of the ability to set it up and in terms of its overall quality.

We wanted a place to sit outside and enjoy our meals without getting chewed alive by black flies and mosquitos during the summer. They can be pretty miserable near our pond here in New Hampshire! The Wenzel Smartshade Screenhouse was fairly easy to assemble. The hardest part was lining up all the walls so the zipper would work without putting a too much stress on it. Not a big deal really. The material is much heavier than our previous Swiss Gear Screenhouse, and replacement parts are available. The only thing that would make this perfect, is if it had a floor. We put down a tarp, and then grass carpet that you can pick up at a discount store for a reasonable price. Our large 6' table and four large chairs fit inside with plenty of room to spare... We also purchased the Sunscreen / Windbreak wall, which attaches easily.

1st one came within two days, looked great except one of the four corner connectors was broken - requested replacement, also recieved in two days and it had similar damage ~ just not enough packing in the top of the box to prevent the inevitable 44lbs product hitting the ground hard during shipping to cause that connector to shatter. This is the updated version of the SWISS GEAR and has WENZEL logo instead ~ thought it was going to be a real treat ~ now it's a bit of a drag. Second one also returned ~ will try one more time!

This shade was super easy to set up! It arrived quickly and was a great price too! We will probably order another one for our outdoor adventures later this summer!

This is one of those products that I would rate with a negative "star" if it was allowed. Before you think about purchasing this Wenzel Smartshade Screenhouse, do yourself a favor and do a search here on Amazon for the Wenzel Smartshade Canopy (Wenzel Smartshade Canopy (White, 10 X 10-Feet)). Look very, very carefully at the many one and two star reviews. In particular, under the one star reviews, look CAREFULLY at the review by Amazon customer "Just Sayin' 2012". This person has perfectly described what kind of misery and irritation YOU will experience if YOU play the fool and buy this defective Wenzel Smartshade Screenhouse and/or Canopy (they are the same thing).

This is a nice looking screenhouse/canopy and I found it to be quite waterproof. Unfortunately, that may be part of the problem with this lousy product. Just like Amazon review customer "just sayin' 2012" and many others, I also found this screenhouse/canopy to have poor ability to shed water from the top of its roof during any kind of rainstorm. The water pools and puddles along the top frame edges along the corners and the sides. I received this screenhouse from Amazon last Monday afternoon. By the following early Monday morning (after a night of light rain on Sunday night with NO wind) my lovely Wenzel Smartshade Screenhouse was no more. I owned it less than a week... It had accumulated enough water on top of the canopy to allow the weight of the water to crush the metal frame like it was made of toothpicks. Not only were the metal supporting arms bent, twisted, and snapped, but one of the actual solid steel rivets holding the arms together was actually snapped in half.
