I bought this tent for a four day hike in Southwest Florida with my two grown sons. We have had extensive backpacking experience in the Rockies, Tetons, Pacific Coast Range and the Yukon. At first I was skeptical considering the low price but the features sounded good and the weight was low so for an easy Florida hike we gave it a try. The 7'X9' size was just right for three men plus we kept our packs inside (food bag is always hung from a tree!). The tent was simple to put up and take down and although we only used it for four days, it's obvious the materials and workmanship are good quality. The zippers work well and are well placed. The tent is highly vented which is perfect for Florida. The fly can be adjusted but I would not consider using this tent for temperatures much below 40 degrees. We had a light rain one night with no leaks. The floor pan looks good but I would always be sure to place it on a spot that drains well. The dark grey lower portion stays clean looking and the yellow top reflects the sun away while blending in with the surroundings. I would not hesitate to take this tent on a long backpacking trip. This a very good tent and an excellent value.

We have a large cabin tent for our long car camping trips. It weighs in at 54 lbs so we purchased this tent for the nights when we want to get away for a single night or take a canoe trip and want to travel light. It was the lightest tent I could find for the size and value. We used it for the first time last night and it worked great. Set up was very quick as anticipated. I am 6'2" 225 and we fit myself, my wife and our large dog. There wasn't a ton of room for gear but we managed just fine. I must add that we use large 4" sleeping pads as well as large rectangular sleeping bags. Now that we spent a night in it, I wish we would have had two doors, but it was $38 so I can't complain. We had nice weather so I can't comment on how well it would do in rain/wind. With all three of us, our bags were against the sides of the tent and did get damp from some condensation. It wasn't enough to cause any problems and that'll happen if you're up against the walls of any tent. I plan on seam sealing and heavily waterproofing the fly and bottom portion of the tent with spray. Again, at $38, I figured I would take my chances with that. I would suggest getting some alternate tent stakes. We used the stakes that came with the tent and they bent of course even in soft ground. I just picked up some aluminum replacements that are lighter and stronger for future trips. If you're looking for a super value that is light on weight and gives a decent amount of room, I would suggest this tent. I will have to update my review once we have some experience with less favorable weather.

This tent was rated 4 stars but as a 1 person tent. if you want to sleep 4 people in it they must be Kids. As a 6'3" 285lb adult it fit my needs fora weekend campint at a paintball event in Husdon FL. With stood rain for over 8 hrs and was sst up in total darkness in less thn 5 min. Great buy if your looking for a single person tent and room to stor your gear. Not recommended for more than that.

Will easily fit 3 adults and backpacks - nice summer 3 season tent. I would get a tarp at Wal-mart and use as a tent foot print. About 40% of the weight is in the poles - so if you want a super light tent get better poles on the internet. This is a great tent

My husband and I have used this tent twice now. The first time it took us 10 minutes to put it up, and second time 5 minutes.

We have a queen-sized air mattress we use and it fits inside with about 6" on each side. We only use the tent to sleep in, so room to store things is not a problem for us. We do have room for a fan and to store our flip flops for the night. The tent is lightweight and air flows through it nicely.

This past weekend we camped at a state park and put the tent up in a light rain. We left to go to the nascar race, and when we returned 8 hours later the tent was dry on the inside. It was not a driving rainstorm, and the rain did quit while we were at the race, but the water beaded up on the tent and was kept out by the fly that covers the tent. It held up very well in the rain.

For the small amount of money we paid for this tent, it is a great buy. Easy to put up, even easier to take down and it rolls up and stores in a carry case.

I brought this for my son's Boy Scout to use on a camping trip with his Boy Scout group. They loved it, it was good for two Scouts only age range from 9 to 13yrs old. So far the tent has held up well for atleast 5 camping trips, even in a bad rain storm.

Good tent for warmer weather. Easy to set up.
No so easy to get back into the bag, though I guess that's more my fault than Wenzel's.

Caught my attention Wenzel store for its beautiful combination of colors (gray, black and yellow). So I did not hesitate to ask Amazon.com LLC. It's very light, it shows good quality long as he was a good deal. For my part recommend it openly.
