4.0 out of 5 stars Overall good bag
The bag is of good quality, but a little bulkier than I would have liked. But with a compression sack the bag will work well for backpacking.

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent
We bought two of these recently. They are nice bags but I do question the 0 degree rating. We took these camping last week in mid 20 degree weather and neither one of us were warm. If you don't plan to go camping below 35 you should be okay but be forewarned otherwise.

After using this cheap sleeping Bag for only a week to sleep in my friends cold apartment the bag inner liner ripped. Spend a little more and buy a better bag.

3.0 out of 5 stars 0 degree rating is questionable, November 24, 2007

Had a chance to use this bag in 22-25 degree weather and thought it would keep me warm, yet my feet were so cold that I could not sleep well. There were also cold spots here and there. I fell asleep in 29 degree weather (pretty comfy) and woke up when it was 22 and could not fall back to sleep. This is a mummy style bag, so there is not much room to move your feet around to get them warm up. There is also not much room to move your arms. It seems that after few times using this bag, the zipper is starting to get jammed up. At $30, you can't go wrong as long as you know its limitations. I will keep using this bag for 35ish and above weather.

We bought 4 of these sleeping bags for our kids. They loved them and were kept VERY warm. We had some problems with one sleeping bag but Amazon happily took it back and replaced it. The replacement shipping time was FASTER than I have ever experienced for any return item. THANK YOU for this smooth transaction, the price of this product and the quality of these sleeping bags.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good value, November 9, 2007
This review is from: Wenzel 2007 Windy Pass 0-Degree Mummy Sleeping Bag (Green/Gold) (Sports)
I recently used this bag while camping at Joshua Tree N.P., where temps are regularly in the low 30's overnight. (fall/winter) This bag is perfect for "car camping" situations where you don't have to hike in to a camp site, (bag is NOT compact). This is a good value for the price, should keep you warm enough near freezing temps.

This sleeping bag is very comfy and VERY warm. It is excellent for cold weather. I used it recently used it, but not for the right weather. It was too warm outside (about 40F) for this sleeping bag and I was rather hot the entire night. It is a good sleeping bag for camping in cold weather, but not for backpacking, or for warm weather. It is too big, bulky and heavy. It is hard to stuff it back into the stuff bag and it puts a lot of weight in your backpack.
Apart from this, it is a great bag at an even greater price.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not a 0 Degree Bag . . . more like 35 to 40 Degree Bag, June 19, 2007
This review is from: Wenzel 2007 Windy Pass 0-Degree Mummy Sleeping Bag (Green/Gold) (Sports)
You get what you paid for with this bag. In the Fall of 2006, I took this bag to Flagstaff, Arizona for a weekend outing. I was cold on a 36 degree night when dressed in sweats. My feet were especially cold as there is not a ton of fill near the end of the bag. The next night it was 40 degrees and I was comfortable. For twenty dollars, it is a good 40 degree bag. However, I think you can find them cheaper elsewhere.

cheap but unfortunately not light and not small, if you planning on backpacking it's not a good choice.

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent cold weather bag, August 22, 2006
This review is from: Wenzel 2007 Windy Pass 0-Degree Mummy Sleeping Bag (Green/Gold) (Sports)
This is your standard type mummy sleeping bag. It's a good length so someone 6'1" can fit without difficulty. It's warm, comfortable, and well padded. It is a bit bulky; even in the stuff sack it's still bigger than I'd like. Also it's a bit warm if you aren't in cold weather. In cold weather you're happy to have it, but in warmer 55~65 weather it's really warm. I ended up sleeping on top of it one night because it was just too warm.

Overall, I think it was well worth the money and serves me well.
