after buying Wera Kraftform MIcro 2035 Electronics Percision Screwdriver, Slotted 1mm Head and being really happy with it, i decided to buy this one and it didn't disappoint!

i'm just a hobbyist, taking apart used mechanical watches and pocket watches that can no longer be salvaged, for upcycled coppertronic jewelry parts. i bought a "watch toolkit" and the slotted screwdrivers were still way too big for the watches i was taking apart and everytime someone asked me "have you tried an eyeglass repair kit?" i would get irritated because an eyeglass screw is about three times as big as the screws in a watch! so i did a lot of research into into "professional" watch tools and just decided what i really needed was a good small screwdriver that can fit comfortably in my hand. they were harder to find than i expected. the tip is magnetized because all the tiny screws stick to it so no more switching to tweezers to set a screw in place or pick it out. it's also ergonomic and my fingers just naturally went right into the grooves of the handle when i went to use it.

it's sharpened well so that it actually goes right into the tiny slots, making it easier to find its grip and twist off a screw. this whole time, i've been using a pin that came with the watch toolkit that i shaved down to meet my needs but even with my small hands, i could not get a good grip on it and it would dull after a few watches.

the only drawback with a slotted screwdriver this tiny is that i wish it was shorter, for better control. when i'm trying to take apart a watch after i drink coffee, my hands are shaking all over the place and having a long handle like this one does not help.

I used to have several of these micro tip screwdrivers in my possession, however they seem to be disappearing on me lately at an alarming rate.
The 00 is used most often for electronics, laptops and the like.
At 5.5 " long, the screwdriver has a rotating knob end that's about 3/4" wide.
Comfortable to use, although I would have preferred it to be a little heavier as to have a more balanced feel.
I feel that this item is overpriced. I would expect this item to sell well at half of what I purchased it at. That said, I'll look elsewhere to stock up on more 00 drivers.

I've got a complete set of Wiha drivers, and these Wera tools blow them away. I use the micro size drivers from both companies and find the the Wera tools are stronger and the sizes are more accurate. A good example is the 1.3mm hex driver - the Wiha driver is actually 1.27mm; the Wera is a true 1.3mm. That kind of difference matters when you're trying to remove a heavily threadlocked screw. The Wiha driver will strip the head out of the screw.

There sizes are more accurate.

The Wera Kraftform Micro 2050 screwdriver was perfect for the job. I used this tool to upgrade my current MacBook Pro's hard drive. The head of this screwdriver is a Phillips 00 head, which made it perfect for the small Apple screws.

The build of the screwdriver is very nice and it is very easy to hold. Conveniently, the screwdriver has a rotating back which comes in very handy when a firm grip is needed. My reasoning for giving it 4 stars is because of my lack of knowledge on other items of its kind and the price of the item, which I think is a little high.

If you choose this item, you will not have any regrets. Does exactly as it describes and it does it very well. I was very impressed with this.

Very well made and ergonomic. The problem with most screwdrivers of this type is that they are not well made, so they get damaged easily. This one looks and feels solid and should be very durable. The handle is also perfect, unlike most of the screwdrivers out there that are not designed to fit the human hand. I will be getting more of this same brand, but different sizes, to replace those other brand screwdrivers that I have been using but are already starting to wear out.

I used this screwdriver to upgrade the RAM in my 2010 Macbook Pro. This handy tool did the job well. The quality of the tool is not great however, I was not expecting more for the price I paid. Overall, I recommend this screwdriver if you are not going to use it a lot. Otherwise, get a better quality product

The quality of the actual tip seems better then store-bought screwdrivers, but I didn't like the grip very much. I prefer the larger, better rubberized grips that Wiha uses, so I'd recommend those if you're going to use this item more then once a month.

Had this screwdriver a week and can tell the steel is high quality. As far as the handle goes, it looks strange; But, it feels nice in the palm of the hand. Think I'm going to like this one . . .
