3.0 out of 5 stars Bands give interesting interpretations..., October 29, 2000
By badlatino (Los Angeles, CA United States) - See all my reviews
Since Vega and Rev are constantly re-inventing their own music, it's fitting that a tribute should come out in honor of the dynamic New York duo. The songs are all very cool and give a case for arguing Suicide's wide influence in current musical trends being set in Rave, Rap and Rock. Especially interesting are Bloodstar's high nrg rock version of "Ghost Rider" and an especially dark version of "Cheree" by Dive. The only thing is that this disc is short on bands and maybe there could have been a couple of more high profile acts involved. A nice collection.
