Book Description

January 12, 2000
Welcome to the journey of personal growth called Personal Mastery. It is a journey that begins each day, but never ends. It is an exciting exploration of you, how you play the game of life and how your choices create your results. It is a journey available to all but chosen by few.

This practical book is based on the premise that people do not necessarily do what is good for them or what they are told. People's belief systems, who they think they are, and how they think life works, determines their behavior and ultimately their results. To create new levels of success requires new beliefs or new perspectives. This book offers the opportunity to explore your unproductive beliefs and discover new viewpoints to situations. These new viewpoints will accelerate success in all of the areas of your life that you desire.

5.0 out of 5 stars Timeless Principles for Today, July 16, 2000
By
This review is from: If How To's Were Enough, We Would All Be Skinny, Rich and Happy (Paperback)
Brian Klemmer states that the fairest way to gauge anything is by its results: often harsh, but always fair. Judging by the thousands of people that he has coached over the years, his concepts must work!

His book is as insightful and engaging as any other personal growth book I have read. The concepts he addresses, such as Resentment, Responsibility, Win-Win, etc. are practical and applicable- from family life to corporate culture.

What seperates Klemmer's book from others in the field are two key points:

1) He stresses the importance of experiential learning verses motivational or how-to work. The core of his philosophy centers on the premise that 99% of the decisions we make we do NOT make... our paradigms (or subconcious belief systems) make for us. By discovering these paradigms, we are able to take control of our decision making and thus grow in our personal power.

2) He discusses how to create results regardless of circumstances. This is extremely important because he provides readers with the necessary tools to create abundance despite the challenges and obstables of life.

I reread this book almost weekly, with earmarks and highlighted sections marking my copy. He stresses how self-improvement and personal growth not only helps you to create abundance in your own life, but also how you can create abundance in the lives of others. As he says in his book, he is about creating "A world that works for everyone, with no one left out!"

Brian Klemmer is a master craftsman in this incredible colletion of short expositions relating to topics for Personal Mastery. The author's great insights present the reader with spell-binding synopses of reflections about human paradigms, relationships, and effective methods for changing one's viewpoint from where they've always viewed things in the past, based on their experiences. It's a must read for anyone looking to seriously embark on a personal growth journey. Anyone who is stuck in his (or her) life, not making the progress he would like, should incorporate these concepts. Brian gave me the tools that I needed. Not only have I made exponential progress, but my husband is so pleased with his "new" wife that he is going to the next level, too. ANYONE,(yes, I mean you!) can take this book and find what is holding him back and ZOOM ahead. Brian is a master teacher!
