When I first saw this kit, I thought my son might be a little young for it. I still think so, however as soon as I flipped through "We're Having A New Baby" I had to have it.

The value of the memories that this book has you record will be priceless. From information about big brother or sister, to the family's feelings, and a place to write about the new baby you will want to keep this as a keepsake after filling it out. The extras to the kit are great too. The new big brother or sister can color picture frames, to later proudly display the new babies pictures. The book of poems are great for reading at a quiet time. And a child old enough to know the days of the week will enjoy finding out what day his brother or sister will come on, so he can find out if they are "fair of face" or something else. My favorite part of this kit is the growth chart, which says on the top, "Lie Down Next to baby and see how tall you both are" What a wonderful way to record the growth of both your children, together.

My son isn't quite two years old yet, and he won't be able to answer some of the questions in the book or color the frames "just right" But in a few years, if we decide to have another, we can use this book to show our children what happened the last time we added a baby to the family. In addition to pictures, stories, and video, we'll have this wonderful keepsake as they grow-up.
